Hey well it's been a pretty busy week for me, I hope things have been going good with you all. This has been an incredibely slow week at school, but it's still been a good week all the same. For once, everyone is settled perfectly into their cl@sses and we can start efficently learning the cirriculum that is given during the school lessons, which is a good. thing.

As for gaming ... well sadly enough I haven't gamed in a bout a week, and of that list includes Metroid Prime 3. It saddens me ... I love the game, I just haven't been able to find the time lately to be able to pick the game up and play it ... hopefully it won't be that way soon after I get bits of homework out of the way ... at least now it's time for a good long deserved weekend.

And in other news ... I've read a couple of magnas that my girlfriend, Chantel has given me. She really loves anime.magna, and for me, I love the style but I haven't spent too much time becoming familiar with a series (except Dragonball Z!). Of that, she has let me read now, four little animes all of which I've enjoyed very much.

- Juvenile Orion - I read this awhile ago and am a little iffy on the details, but if I'm not mistaken this manga was published by Square Enix and I found it rather enjoyable. Dark powers, spirits, and the fate of a group of high school students may be the key to saving the rest of humanity ...

- Sequence - A nice little magna about spirits and vampires, and even some debate about the gender of a character in the novel, I really enjoyed this one a bit, but the remainding part of the series isn't available in the U.S. and the first book leaves you hanging!

- Legal Drug - I really liked this, although I wish there was more to read! It's about two guys, who stumble themselves into working in a Drug Store that do all kinds of operations ... it's more along the lines of a comedy, with some suspense, and from all I've spent I've enjoyed it a lot. The cross dressing parts of the third novel kept me laughing a bit too.

- Gravitation - By far this is my favorite anime that I've read. It's about the story of a high school student named Shuichi Shindou who wants to become rock star, but by fate stumbles across the beatiful writer named Eiri Yuki - who reads some of Shuichi's music, labelling his lyrics as crap. Eventually the two fall in love, Shuichi lists his way to fame, and you'll learn about Yuki's dark past. This is a fantastic series so far ... I've read four of the twelve books in the main series, and it has a great sense of humor. I'm not too fond of the ****in the earlier novels, but then it turns out great. It really is a rather cute, and sweet novel, full of all kinds of sets of humor that keeps me coming back. It's a shame that Shuichi isn't a real person in life ...

Rediscovering an Old Band:

All right, I wouldn't say along the lines of 're-discovering' an old band ... however, a couple years back one of my favorite bands was the Australian band known as Savage Garden. I really enjoyed it then, and I recently just remembered the band and decided to pick up their rather new Greatest Hits compliation. It's like finding an old friend all over again - I can see why I loved the music. The singer, named Darren Hayes, has an absolutely beautiful voice in his music, though, I can see that the whole 'Pop' genre does take it's toll on me now again, and it really feels strange listening to a genre that I don't prefe as I would much more prefer rock - regardless of that, it's really good to be back to listening to this band again - it's a shame their not together, because it would be nice to see them live in the lights on stage. Well that's all for now, enjoy the weekend.

I've seen Sequence before it was also done in the style of a movie although a lot of the movie was shoved in. I'm still waiting for MP3 to hit Scottish shores but I just picked up SPM which came out here yesterday so it's keeping me entertianed for now.

I hope school goes well.

Yeah some manga and anime is pretty awesome, but I tend to avoid the more obscure ones that you've been reading strictly on principle more than anything else. Have fun with your new music, I love going back and listening to music I liked when I was a wee lad.

I haven't been playing games for a while until I borrowed Kingdom hearts 2.
The drought will probably end when brawl comes out.

Those Mangas look pretty cool. Try to get some Metroid Prime 3 in this weekend, you deserve it.

KingKoop: Yes, I hope there's more to Sequence later on ... and I'm glad to hear your entertained by SPM, I still have yet to play the game.

irmleeman5995: Ahh yes the good old days ... wolf360rev: Well, it's more or less the fact that I'm so busy lately but hey, what can I do ... besides do stuff faster and never sleep? Well Galaxy will stop my drought for sure, but Brawl will probably stop it forever.

yodariquo: Hee hee ... did I miss something.
And I'm sorry to hear that.

PJ24; Except in Brain Age.

KingKoop: Interesting, thanks for the tip ... though really I'm reading some Mangas Chantel is lending me, I don't think I'll be much for going out to buy my own.

tbui54: Thanks. Actually though ... I'm going shopping again.

Never read manga before... *wating for red tomatoes to fly any time soon*

I always prefer to watch them on tv / dvd but I've got to admit these look interesting. Maybe I'll check them out too

Omnislash_: Oh no don't worry ... you know the story is usually deeper in the mangas so hey ... don't worry I'll share the tomato-throwing with you since these are more or less some of my first ...
Dragonball Z, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! never counted.
