I know no-one reads these blogs so I haven't made one since January but just writing to let you know I got a job at GAME and I just wanted to shout it out. Plus it was my birthday Saturday and combined with a staff discount I got some nice stuff.

I got a PS3 for my exams, 80GB one with 4 games so far; Ratchet & Clank, Burnout Paradise, GHIII and Soulcalibur IV. My PSN is JoeNDM

Got a crappy old PSP dirt cheap off eBay and I love it!!! Finished FF Tactics yesterday and got the amazing Crisis Core as well. Got 5 games altogether.

Why I haven't got more games for these even though I have loads of money is I'M GETTING A WII! not that I don't love my PS3 and PSP I do (their multimedia stuff is great, PSP is my iPod) and my DS still gets use but I really want SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Galaxy amongst others.

Right, lets see if I get any comments...

This is my first quaterly report blog of 08 and I'll just list soem fot he new stuff I got games-wise as well as rant about how much a want a Wii and a PSP.

So, I've got:

Fullmetal Alchemist Dual Sympathy for DS (It's not bad, I got all of Season One on DVD as well. I love FUNimation boxsets)

DBZ Goku Densetsu and Supersonic Warriors 2 for DS (Goku Densetsu is the Uk version with Japanese voices, the game's pretty wierd but I got the US Supersonic Warriors 2 coz I'm a dubbie) and Legacy of Goku II (US version but no difference anyway)

New Super Mario Bros. (Not as awesome as Super Mario Galaxy but it's more challenging, the save feature is horrible)

Burnout Revenge and Need For Speed Underground (picked these gems up cheap of eBay, work really well and are great games. Both satisfy my need for EA car games and Burnout satisfies for thirst for destruction since I've nearly finished God Of War)

Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 (it's not that great, but it's okay. That's all for and after X-mas, I had DBZ Tenkaichi 3 and FFVI Advance B4 as well)

and I'm looking to get:

tons more DS games (Brain Training; for family. Elite Beat Agents, XII Revenant Wings, FFIV, FFV Advance, Mario Kart DS and Wario Ware Touched!)

A Wii (nearly everyone in my family want one but parents are stingy. I NEED one of these!!! And Super Mario Galaxy to boot)

A PSP (sexy black obviously. Then I can get Tactics; War of the Lions, Crisis Core, Daxter and a couple others)

A new TV (widescreen preferably with NTSC support, nothing too hi-def fancy but better than what I've got ATM)

DBZ Season Four and the new Double Feature movie releases as well as FMA Season Two and all of Yu Yu Hakusho 2 Disc releases, unless it's shown on TV. Here's Hoping.

I'm never fully happy

so until next time

For my birthday I FINALLY decided I would get a DS and it arrived today!

Okay, it's a sexy black DS lite but boy is it great! I've got 2 games that I bought with it: Final Fantasy III and The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

FFIII is pretty good, I'm up to the point where Cid has trashed the Airship when he broke the boulder and I've picked jobs for my team: Luneth is a warrior, andI want most of his jobs to be simplesword n shield types, with his final job being Onion Knight. Arc is a Red Mage, and I want him to use jobs like Scholar, Evoker and Summoner. Refia is a White Mage, and I want her to later on be a Devout and then a Sage as her Ultimate job. I'll also use her as a Monk and later Black Belt too. And Ingus will be the Heavy Warrior, which is jobs that use weapons in both hands, like Viking and Dragoon. At the moment he's a thief. I'm enjoying this game, it's not groundbreaking, but the opening FMV is but it's fun.

Phantom Hourglass is absolutley AMAZING! The controls are great and make great use of the Stylus, even though I can never roll when I want to... The is my first Zelda game, I've played on them before but this is the first I've owned and I have to say it's blown me away. The puzzles are great, not too easy but obvious enough to quickly figure out what to do. I'm onto the Blaaz Boss ATM and I love the Boomerang weapon, it's great fun!

I'm also playing FFI & II again, I've finished one of the 4 secret dungeons and got Ultima Weapon, and I'm going to the one where Gilgamesh is. On II I'm in Bafsk Cave.

I'm hoping to buy FFVI ADVANCE soon as well as another DS game, I'm thinking a New Mario one or a DBZ title.

Transformers
Even though I never was a fan of Transformers, i absolutley LOVED this film. It is THE best film of 2007 and one of the best of all time. Full of great actors, especially Shia LeBeouf (hope I spelled it right) and the older cast, comedy moments,...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
This review contains some spoilers so there you go.

We're on the third and final film already eh? I hope it's the last one unless the next one is a stand alone like BLACK PEARL was. The first movie still the best and this may be a...

Nacho Libre
A very, very dissapointing film. I laughed twice during the whole thing, which is not acceptable for a Jack Black film. The plot was dull, I didn't care about any of the characters and it was all round bad.

Charlotte's Web
The best interperatation of the book by far. The selling point of this film isn't the A-list celebrities, or the family-friendly humour but the loveable characters. The relationship between Wilbur and Charlotte tugged at a few heart strings in my...
