Well, I got back from my hunt on Saturday, and I'm happy to say I was successful. I shot a young spike (a smaller buck with small antlers) right through the heart. We were watching this one deer on a hillside that kept disappearing, then my dad glanced out another window of our blind and saw this spike standing about 15 yds. away. I was about to raise my gun (.243 Win) when the little guy picked his head up and stared right at us. My dad told me that usually means you're toast, but we froze for about 15 seconds and amazingly he went right back to grazing. And, well, you know what happened next.

So, it wasn't a monster buck, but it was my first, so I'm psyched. Thanks for all your well-wishes in the last post, guys.

In other news, 358/2 Days comes out tomorrow. I can't wait to get my hands on it, but not only do I have school tomorrow, but piano. So, I'll have to wait until about 5:00 to pick it up. Rest assured, though, I'll be playing it most all evening. Plus, I'll be going on a trip to visit my aunt and uncle this Friday, so I'll be able to spend a good 6 hours or so digging in to the inevitable goodness.

Speaking of which, I don't think I'll have access to a PC up there. I think my uncle has a laptop, and as cool as he is, I'm not gonna ask him to let me use his personal laptop for GS. So, come Friday, I probably won't be on until Monday.
