This here list reminds me of how little movies I've seen this year.

The movies on this list have made me convert to atheism on the count that no loving God could possibly let these films be released.

Remakes can go either way. They can usually be an amazing remastering of a timeless classic or a horrible abomination that taints the original's good name just by association. These movies are the former.
