Hello everyone, normally I put update reveiws of some of the seekly mangas I read. Well since Beelzebub is taking sofreaken long to co me out, I decided to spice things up with some lists of some of my favorite catgories. So here I go.
My Top Favorite Mangas:
Well, I'll start off with something basic here you go.( Though a lot of you know me can already guess tis list)
5. Naruto

Ah a cl@ssic that I'm pretty sure just about everyone is aware of, Naruto! Yes, Kishimoto's master peice developed from the adventures of a hyper active little young ninja as he grows up to try to realize his dreams in the harsh shinobi world. It shows the development of Naruto and all his companions as they get strong, witness the deaths of thier loved ones, and the loss of their friends. Naruto has grown form a little kid try to gain attention to a true loyal companion who never turns his back on his friends and his new goal to help fulfil his master's dreams and bring peace t the ninja world. Now Naruto currently struggles to save his old friend Sasuke from the darkness he has fallen into. Now all the strangs of the plot are finally weaving together into a grand climax. This series might almost be over but it definately had an important impact on all of us. For some (including myself) its what got us into the wonderful world of anime. Though over the years I have found new series and its place has dropped, but the good times I shared with it will always be remembered.( plus they have the guts to kill of their characters, yeah I'm looking at you Kubo >_> )
4. D. Gray-man

"I will purify you soul!" Ah yes a recently fallen on my list, D.Gray Man. It tells the story of Allen Walker, Exorcist for the Black Order in their everlasting war against the Earl of Millenium and his dark creation, the akuma. Allen was just a long orphan who's parents abandoned because of his strange red arm. One day he befriended a clown namde Mana who took him in for a while. One day Mana had died, and the Earl had approached young Allen. Convincing him that he could bring Mana back to life, he had Allen turn him into an akuma. The Mana Akuma had attacked the young Allen and sliced his right eye, cursing it with the ability to see the spirits within Akuma. When receiving the curse, Allen's Innocence in his arm awakened and destroyed the Akuma and released Mana. Soon after he was found by Marian Cross, a genral of the Black Order and was taken in to learn to be an exorcist so he can save the traped spirits of those who have become Akuma. Over their adventures in the search of Innocence, they find their true enemies, the Earl's family, the Noah Clan. Facing these beings and their powerful akuma, the characters suffer many losses and grow closer as allies. Many dark secrets are reveiled about the exorcists and even the Order has its own shadey members. D. Gray Man has an extremely well written story with some loveable characters, and some incredibly top notch art(one of my personal faves). It used to my #1, but the constant Haitus caused it to move to SQ and the story has recently been feeling a bit rushed. But the ride there was still an amazing one, which puts D. Gray Man at my #4.
3. Hunter X Hunter

3 JUMPS in a row, wow thats pretty amazing
.Hunter X Hunter is the story of a young boy names Gon Freaks a young boy living on an island who discovered that his father was a legenday Hunter. Seeking to find his father, he leaves to become a hunter just like him. He goes to take the Hunter'sExam he meets valuable new friends and dangerous new rivals. After the exam he begins his quest for his father, along the way he learns of a new mysterious combat art called Nen. Gon and his friends soon begin angaging against dangerous and comlex criminals on their journey. This sereis was actually recommeneded to me by Soniccomics. Though I found the sereis a bit tedeious and boring near the begining, I grew to love it as the group engaged in complex criminal syndicates and other dangerous threats as they adventure into the vast world. The funny thig about this sereis is that I'm not even caught up with it yet.
I am currently at the begining of the Green Island arc. Reason be is because of the multiple haituses, I am pacing myself to keep my from begging for more as long as giving me something to enjoy in free time. Anyway, Hunter X Hunter gets number #3
2. Psyren

Wow, 4 JUMP series, whats with this?
. Ageha Yoshina was a highschooler who normally did jobs for others in order to make money. One day, one of his cl@ssmates, Amamiya, disapears and is no where to be seen. Before her disapeance, Ageha had noticed strange things in her personality all revolving around a strange red phone card and a mysterious cult called Psyren. Ageha, worried about his cl@ssmate, decides to use the phone card. What he gets is a bombardment of questions from a mysterious female voice. The next day, two fake cops who were hacking the phone lines come to Ageha in order to get his Psyren phone card(which had a large bounty on them since they were rare). While he was running, the mysterious Nemesis Q, the supposed leader of this Psyren cult,appears to him. He makes Ageha's cell phone ring, and when he picked up, Ageha found himself in a msyrerious apocalipcal new world, Psyren.....And thus the story begins. After Ageha finds his friend( as well as another old friend from when he was younger) and return to their world, they are informed of all that is going on in this mysterious new world. They figure out that that ruined world, was really the future of the world. What caused the world to become like that? Tht is what our heroes try to figue out. As a side affect to Psyren's atmosphere, the group awakens to new special powers called PSI, that alow them to lift objects, read minds, and develop their own uniques skills. After a number of trips and other events, Ageha and his friens meet the W.I.S.E. and their mysterious leader Miroku, who could be responsible for the earth becoming the way it is. Now the group continues to figure out the msyteries and try to prevent that dreaded future. I myself found Psyren;s first chapter really interesting. The sci-fi msytery setting really apealed to, so I kept on reading and I just fell in love. The series plot develops and the group is introduced to many loveable and awesome characters. The series strongest point is its mysteries and who each answer can just open up more questions. Its a series that can really get you to thing, while still providing some awesome kick @ss shonen action. This puts Psyren at #2.
Now for my the Primero!
#1 Soul Eater! ( like this is a surprise to anyone who knows me
)

"I will be taking your soul!" Man, it was so close to being a JUMP full house, but oh well. Published in the sam magazine as FMA made by Square, is my top manga, Soul Eater. The ShinigamiShcool for Meisters and Weapons, or Shibusen,is a place where people train to become an a weapon meister and keep peace in this mythical world.( by mythical, I mean its our world, but in an unknown time line with some of its own fantasy settings an elemnts.) Each pair is made up of either the of the meister and their partners, weapons(Beings who are able to transform their physical shape into weapons.) Together, the weapon/meiaster pare travels around doing jobs and collecting corrupted souls of criminals and witches. The ultimate goal for all meisters is to collect exactly 99 kishin eggs(corupt human souls) and 1 witch soul and turn their partners into Death Scythes. The story follows Maka Albarn, a scythe meister, and her partner Soul Eater Evans. Along with them are their other fellow students, a kid sho claims he will supass god, Black*Star and his partner Tsubaki(has multiple forms), and Shinigami-sama's son with an insane symetrical disorder, Death The Kid and his partners Liz and Patty Tompson, two dual guns. Each of these pairs go on their own assignments to collect souls and transform them into death scythes( note: Death Scythes is acl@ss not the actual shape they will become.) Along there journeys, they decover troublesome villians who try to resurect the kishin, and embodyment of insanity.I started out with watching the Soul Eaer anime which was recomened by one of my friends, I instanly fell in love with the series. It is from the same magazine as FMA so it ended only after 50 eps. After the anime ended( they really wrote a crappy ending for it..) I wanted more so I started reading the manga, which was vastly supirior.(though the art was a bit lacking in the begining). Soul Eater is a wonderful ride, that captured me with its interesting and pretty much insaly(literally) awesome characters and great humor. The sereis has its serious moments and it definately has some incredibly epic techniqal action sequences( Black Star vs Mifune.....nuf said...) I must say, Soul Eater is the only sereis where I love EVERY character. They are all fasinating and amusing in their own creative ways.(though I did dislik Gofer in the begining, but he proved to be amusing in the end). Anyway, Soul Eater manages to get #1 on my top manga.
Well there, my top 5 mangas, get ready to look out for more top 5s in different catagories.
