So I am driving down the highway with my boyfriend when I heard a not so good sounding noise. I pulled over to realize that my muffler was detached at one end. I could not take it off all the way and we had no tools or cellphone with us. I looked around my van and found an extra pair of sneakers, I removed the laces. I used the laces as a rope to secure the muffler to the car till we got to the mechanics. Kind of unusual methods but it worked.
