I finally caved in and bought one, sitting silently next to my x360 and Wii. The timely arrival of free money also aided the decision. Seems pretty funky already, just been playing some Noby Noby Boy. That is one wacky game but I love Katamari Damacy so I decided to give it a chance. Purchase number one was definitely Wipeout HD though, as the massive Wipeout fan I am. Unfortunately I have to wait until off-peak to grab it... ![]()
So I currently own Killzone 2 and Call of Duty 4, but I'll probably trade-in / sell COD4 since I had the 360 version and still have it on PC. I'm kicking myself that I missed the Little Big Planet + Controller bundle at BigW, just 2 days off! To those of you with the big black machine, what other games should I look at getting?
Oh, and make sure you add Spice-Phx to your friend list. Apparently at some point I made a VagrantAU account but damned if I know what email its attached to. ![]()
Horribly cliche title, but yes I am still alive and kicking.
Just not as active.
And sleep deprived.
All thanks to this little horror.
His cute looks are just a cover for the terror that lurks within...
In all serious though, I love the little man. His full name is Ezekiel Phoenix Gibson, but we just call him Zeke. And now that he is finally adjusting to life in the outside world I have a few spare minutes occasionally to catch-up with everything. So how has everyone been in my absence? Did you miss me? ![]()
Well, not completely but I have been surfing around Giant Bomb a lot more recently. To anyone else that has setup over there (I know Elektrixxx has) my username is Vagrant.
Now I've been rather slack lately, even hinting at a massive announcement last post. I'm sorry, I caught the flu last week and have been living death. Today was my first day back to work and I was sent home again. I just can't seem to shake it! But that really isn't an excuse so I'll just come out with it.
I'm going to be a father.
It wasn't exactly planned and for a long time it didn't seem real. That was until about 2 weeks ago when Aimie had the scan and we got to see our child for the first time. Now I'm warming to the idea - perhaps even excited. Luckily I still have some time to freak-out and get prepared. But yeah, big news!
In other not as exciting news, my HDDs died last week. Both had been crunching like crazy for months and it was inevitable. So while ordering a new shiny HDD I picked up a minor upgrade as well. No longer do I have to suffer unbearably slow load times with a nice Athlon64 X2 6000+, all while packed in a sexy little Antec Mini P180. Easily keep me happy until the upgrade bug bites again, probably around my birthday...
