Several circumstances led to the fact that I spend the past weekend almost completely with gaming. 1) My girlfriend was out of town for the weekend. 2) The weather was cloudy at most. 3) A buddy of mine had a free weekend, too. ... and last but most important: 5) i spontaneously decided to buy the Guitar Hero: World Tour-drumset!

The quality gaming time started on friday when we kicked off some Resident Evil 5-coop. It was the first time I played this mode and it was so much fun that we shot our way through one third of the game without a break! During the rest of the night we played some CoD: MW online on one server with my two PCs, which was kinda difficult since we were in opposite teams but my PCs stand nearly side by side ...

Saturday morning started with my decision to add the GH: WT-drumkit to my two guitars. This of course brought a day-long jam-session about! I honestly expected to mess up in drums because I'm not really blessed with a feel for rhythm ... but it turned out to be great fun, especially when you play Metallica-songs with a buddy on the guitar - AWESOME! Unfortunately I haven't found out how to hold the left stick properly so my wrist hurts badly today and I got two blisters on my fingers ... worth it! Since my neighbors probably would have called the police if we played GH all night long, we spend the remains of the night in front of Trackmania and Pro Evolution Soccer.
