I just posted my first review for an iPhone game (which is also my first review at all for a mobile device) - you can check it out here! Speaking of which: Thanks to the beloved service of bitmetv.org I can watch the current season of Dexter in 720p even over here in Germany - and it's awesome! After the episode which aired on Sunday I decided to officially announce it the best Season ever, which means 24 Season 1 is deposed.

Aside from watching and playing Dexter I also have a really great time with Uncharted 2 and the new Pro Evolution Soccer, which already came out in Europe. I had buddies over all the last week and we played it for hours and hours.

Of course, all of this is just some way to pass time while waiting for the two hottest releases of this year: Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 are coming right up - and I can't wait for it!!!

I'm really wondering what idiot came up with this idea: A 3rd person view in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer?! Come on!! Does this make any sense to you?!

Although this option will only be available in private MP matches, it's nonetheless senseless. In its long ranging history Call of Duty always was a First Person Shooter as much as it could have been - and that's how it should be! What do the developers want to achieve with adding this 3rd person view? I simply don't get it ... Besides, of course, marketing purposes: The wide-spread discussion about the match-making-system, the leaked 3rd person view video and now the controversy about letting the player participate in a terrorist massacreare all part of a large-scale marketing campaign.

And all of this won't stop me from buying MW2 the first day it comes out! Of course not!! But I consider the decision to add a 3rd person view to a pure FPS-game to be inconsequent and inappropriate. The next logical step would be to add a mechanic for fistfighting in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or World at War 2 - it worked great in Uncharted 2 and Batman: Arkham Asylum, so ... why not?!

... when you have an iPhone?!

Since I entered the holy circle of iPhone-owners last week I of course spend a lot of time searching the App Store (after all it's the killer arguments to buy an iPhone!). I already had an 16GB-iPod-Touch but there wasn't much space left aside from my music and when I upgraded to the 32GB-iPhone I started to discover the gaming-possibilities this nifty little gadget offers - and they are surprisingly rich!

It doesn't matter if you're searching for a little game that f. e. shortens your waiting time at the dentist or for a "real" gaming experience - the App Store has it all. Regarding to the last one, the official Dexter game really impressed me. Not only is it made with extreme attention to detail and thus a blast to play when you're a fan of the series (like I am ) - it also looks amazing and can easily compete with late PS2-games. Some very simple but absolutely addicting games are f.e. Flight Control or Doodle Jump.

In this context I think it's right that GS added an iPhone-section to its review-library because nowadays you can call the iPhone - besides a lot of other things - a portable console. What do you think?

Some people just don't have opinions. Like nicklech16.
nicklech16 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could nicklech16 possibly have for not rating a single film?
