Many years ago I came up with a response to a friend when they said, "We were just talking about you." For a short time I just said, "Oookk." After a few times I didn't like that so I said, "I'm sure you have better things to talk about." I have used that since. I tell you this because I have been tagged a few times and until now I have just laughed it off. Ok, so here goes...things about me. *sigh*

1. I was the first in my family ever to go to a university.

2. I was the first in my family ever to graduate from a university.

3. I worked four jobs and took a full 17 semester hours both semesters in my senior year at the university.

4. I maintained a 4.0 my senior year at the university (but not previously).

5. I have no brothers, but I have a friend that could have been.

6. I have purchased every gaming system that I have ever owned and most of my games (a few gifts).

7. I worked the 11-7 shift at a convenience store.

8. I've had to fire people, including one very good friend.

9. I take care of my "stuff", my computer is a 10 year old laptop that works well except for games.

10. My previous blog was mentioned in the Randomness teh Awesome section of the weekly report.

I think that is enough boring information, so now you can talk about better things.

Thank you for reading.

I tag: Shadows-Flame, sevansoares (it's time for a blog), megamannt123, and BrandonR89

oh, and cool facts, i'm gonna go to college, but how did you work those late shifts at the convienience store?
Posted Apr 6, 2009 2:15 pm PT
@gormo4: I'm glad you can see them again and thanks for reading.
@megamannt123: You have now been tagged. The graveyard shift isn't really too bad, and I was trying to take a full class load at the time so I really didn't have much option. I don't recommend that because my grades suffered a lot and I was always worn out.

It's some nice info, some interesting stuff bro.

Those were interesting things to find out about you. I don't have brothers either, just a sister. That must have been hard to fire a friend. I can relate to taking good care of electronics since I still have a NES and SNES that both work fine.

Posted Apr 6, 2009 3:55 pm PT
My laptop computer is more than three and a half years old, and it really needs to be replaced. I can make a long list of the problems it has.

@bigd575: Yeah, it seems that the more I tried to be different the more I was the same.
@romo70: Actually the friend wasn't too bad because I knew them and they knew me well enough to know it was business. I too have both of those and they get used often.
@travisstaggs: Well mine works fine for games that were out when my computer was new. It is more the graphics and ram hog games that I can't play.
@slipknoob: The only one that was easier than my friend to fire was a jerk, and I actually enjoyed telling him that he wasn't working here anymore. I'm still friends with the friend. I had to work too hard to get my consoles and games etc to not take care of them, but I did have to control my anger a bunch of times.

@Ohno_Kateh: I spent most of my time studying the ladies. I still don't know much about them. I focused more on the sciences and business studies for my grades.
@kingkilla3: Richard I thought you just got a new one. Oh, was that the desktop that is new?
@jaykho213: Yeah, it is always fun to learn new things about friends.
@SquareEnixFan13: It isn't that bad, and it is amazing how similar we all seem to be.
Posted Apr 7, 2009 4:35 am PT
@NinjaMunkee: That's only because I was afraid you might not be able to sneak in a visit.
@riou7: Not really I just had everyone fooled. Besides I'm the oldest.

I've got more than $900 in the bank, so I just need a few more hundred before I can get the kind I want.
Posted Apr 7, 2009 6:03 am PT
Heh, thanks for the tag N! Hehe You're right, it's time for a blog, I'll post when I think of anything good to say.
And wow, I didn't know all that stuff about you. Must've been hard to fire people and to work so much studying. By the way, what did you study?
Posted Apr 7, 2009 8:53 am PT
Haha, this is awesomeness.
I go to a university, and I'll be the first in my immediate family to graduate from a major university (I guess you could say Division 1?).
Posted Apr 8, 2009 12:08 pm PT
@kingkilla3: It is definitely a good idea to get something that you will be happy with, especially when you are so close.
@sevansoares: The funny thing is that working the 4 jobs which was more hours was easier than the 40 hour 11-7 job. My favorite courses were ABC...anatomy, biology, and chemistry. I ended with a degree in business finance.
@MareInfinitus: Tyler, thank you, I'm glad you liked it and congratulations. Yeah, I was the first to go to as much as a community college.

Sorry for being late as you alway come to my blog sorry, anyway great 10 things about you, that sucks was your friend not really good?, look like you're a really smart person how did you manage four jobs?, well I enjoy reading this blog keep up the good work.
Posted Apr 10, 2009 11:46 pm PT
You only have 10, I need another 10 more although 20 new info pieces would be better

@Serbine: Two of the 4 jobs were university based and easy to work around the schedule. One of the others was Thurs. afternoon, Friday afternoon, and Saturday Morning. The only real danger of conflict was the Friday, because the 4th job was Friday and Saturday night (a skate rink) with another day sometimes. Hmm, the friend is still a friend and we still hang together. I really only enjoyed firing one person that was a jerk, the others were not a lot of fun but the friend was easy to deal with because of our history.
@Ohno_Kateh: Can't you just read it twice? I'll see what I can do for you.
Posted Apr 11, 2009 5:42 am PT
Ha, that's good glad thing are still good between you two.
Posted Apr 11, 2009 6:20 am PT
Awesome, bro. You're kinda interesting, don't take it to heart, kay.
Posted Apr 12, 2009 4:01 pm PT
@Serbine: I'm glad they worked out too.
@black_hen: Thanks, and I won't.
