Been sometime since I posted lasted, almost a full quarter. Quite a difference with games now. For me being older, Gears 2 really didn't do much for me. Fallout 3 on the other hand, ushers in a whole new experience in gaming for all of us. I'm still a fan of Gears because I like the drama between Marcus, Dom, Baird, and Cole. And I was very surprised it didn't outsell GTA IV or Halo 3 since it's a much better game than both. Back to Fallout well, I really didn't think there would ever be a game that affected me as much as Bioshock but here it is. No surprise Bethesda accomplished a game of this size after Oblivion, but what a story, after 400 hours now, what a full experience. One of the things I really like is, the majesty of inner DC still holds even as it sits in ruins. And as powerful as that is, it can even shine to our friends in Europe and around the world to see a little slice of what America is all about. It's fallacies and its greatness lie in its people. As true as when this country started. Go deep into the story and you'll see how life could be like in and out of vaults, things many people, probably much during the Cold War and the Cuban Missile Crisis, talked about in real life. Just one example but this alone doesn't skim the surface of the direction this game can take you. It may be one of the first games that, really doesn't have an ending. And you don't really care if it did, you just want to be a part of it. Well those are some thought about Fallout from me, I hope your experience with the game is enriching as it has been for me.

Ok so Mom came first. I filed this one under Nature for Human Nature. We've just all gotten so close, my brother, sisters and I since Mom went in the nursing home. I wanted her to have a big tv so she could really see! lol. No she's lucky she has great eye sight for her age 80 something. But the kids all got her a tv too small, and as much as I wanted that nifty Samsung projector for my gaming, Mom had to come first. So this was the tv:

Samsung LN32A450 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

Nice one huh?! My sister said this was as big as could fit in the room successfully. Guess I got to wait until next month for my projector.

But I'm going home in 5 days so I'll be back on Xbox!! yaaaaaay!!!!

I tell ya between all the Samsung toys and the Tacos and such my customer's feeding me here in California I think I'm turning part Korean, part Mexican!

Gaming on the road is now possible thanks to today's technology advances. I'm sure this has been around for a while, and I was confronted with it last year while being in a hotel for a month while visiting my mom. Then I only bought an Xbox and hooked it into the existing tv. This hotel has their own gaming network and I realized I had to come up with another solution. So now I've ordered a new projector from Amazon.com delivered to my hotel room:

Samsung P400 DLP Lumen Pocket Ultra Portable Projector and the 60 gig Xbox

Now I can blast the game vids on the wall with nice graphics, no blur unless you go up and look very close. For anyone on the road and trying to stay in the game, hopefully this helps.
