Then I replied that I damn well will read Avatar, and that I would read comics after I got through my "Manga List". Remember, we also talked about Batman comics and the Dark Knight that same day.

I'm worried about the live action movies and that they'll ruin the series. Moving cartoons to live action and vice-versa very rarely ends well, and M. Night Shyamalan is definitely not the best director for the job.

I'm agreeing with you towelie, I agree completely. But that risk goes with all series that become movies, atleast when it comes to animation. They almost always make crappy movies. But making it live action is always 100x harder. I REALLY hope they don't ruin it. And I agree with you about Shyamalan, but I've heard others (who have watched all his movies) say that he can pull this off. I've only watched the Village, which sucked badly. So I don't really know, hard to judge a person off of one movie right.

But when I think about it, I can't help but think it's going to be freaking awesome! Think about how the effects will look, how all the bending will look and stuff. The effects at the VERY LEAST will look amazing. Also, the creators of Avatar said in an interview that they've spoken with Shyamalan and that he respects the series alot and doesn't want to ruin it. And they trust him, so I guess I may as well too. They wouldn't let the series go down.

Don I was referring to the English dubs, not the Japanese ones. Though even the Japanese ones can sound weird sometimes too. No one from Naruto or Bleach (that I can think of right now) have bad voices in the Japanese audio versions. It's mostly the smaller animes that have some crappy voices, or just the stupid characters.

@UZ: BTW I can't go on MSN for some stupid reason. It gives me error message 81000395. Your guess is as good as mine as to what that is. I searched it, and everyone says to reinstall, and so I did. As you may have guessed it did absolutely nothing. I'll deal with it at the end of the week when the mangas come out. Hopefully OP will have the action it should have had last week.

I don't know about animated movies either, but the creators said it may continue in other ways and named a few of the ways. We'll see if they say anything new at ComicCon.
