Here are a few peiece I found over at GamesIndustry.biz
(The link above will open a new window to GamesIndustry.biz were the original article is located.)
"It's going to take [Sony] a couple of years to get up to speed on this, and I'm not sure that they necessarily have the talent, or it's built into who they are as a company," Moore said.
"They're struggling with some of their hardware issues, and apparently they're going to deliver another five million in the next 90 days. But this business is about hardware, software and services now. And the consumer expects that."
"If I wanted to make my online service better, and I wanted to give [Sony] a little piece of advice, it would be to copy Xbox Live a little more closely," he said.
"My honest opinion is that it's pretty much a disaster. They keep saying that they have a free service. Well, if they don't have anything, of course it's free. And you know what: what's free about $600?"
What are your thoughts on this matter?

im no fanboy but ms needs to drop those cocky bastards with no marketing skills and only a tounge made of bs for some guys who can.... y'know, think
They know the potential of the PS3 so they want to bring out the Xbox v2.0 (Zephyr).
That sounds like a desperation move to me.
Everyone says the PS3 is to expensive, but look at all of the hidden costs for the 360. You have to pay an extra 200 bucks for a next gen Hd-DVD player. Their excuse? "We want to give our customers a choice on weither they want it or not."
At least Sony was blunt, "We are going with a different format, the Blu-Ray Disc. They hold more data than regular DVDs."
I smell the scent of despartion coming from Microsoft
for 600 bucks + tax you get:
-60 gigs, -memory slots
-wifi
-blue tooth
-next gen player
-free online
-support for removable HDD
-possibility to run Linux(Emulators anyone= all the VC titles from anytime and most of the consoles)
-7 player support
-PS 1 + PS 2 library If thats not worth 600 bucks, then somebody tell me of a better option cause I far as I know, all that 360 has as heavy hitter games, base 99% on the Multi Player. I wonder if there is anyone that is going to complaint when MGS4, DMC 4, and both FF XIII are released? 2008 = Best case scenario for 360 death

I think they are going to surprise all of them when they sell all the units they set out to sell and later in the year the games that will come out will be phenomenal! That console is a game creators dream and it gives them more room (literally) to do what ever they want.
So they can say what they want, but this year PS3 will reign victorious.
oh, btw, i haven't heard anyone get injured from a PS3 yet........just needed to add a cheap shot
