I finished MGS 3 yesterday, and before that, i didn't really think much about MGS 4's release date being 2008... but now after finishing it... im sad too

In a way this is good though because it makes us want it more (makes me want the PS3 more) and it'll feel that muc better when it finally comes!

Lol, depressed? Well, it does suck, but Finalfan789 has a point. The longer it takes Hideo to make and release the game, the better it will undoubtably be... He's taking his time, and making sure every aspect is perfect. And lets be honest, if they pushed it back to 2009 or 2010... or even the year 2020, we would still wait anxiously for it... Simply because we have to. All us fans can do, is wait...

okay for those of you who don't know, mgs is an extended, as in life long mission, pre deteremened but the government, (in the mgs world) if you've played the gaame the connections are astablshed, snake is nuke status, which can cause un-imagionable results since the snake eater saga, and if you pay attention to the "phone calls" at the end of the last three offcial games. (not including 80's originals) but yes the smoking feature in the games has effected snake, (hint, the preview of mgs4) the story will not connect to snake eater, the flashback game will come later on( playstation 5 anyone) just kidding, but yes therer will be plenty more games to come beyond this, a whole very well researched historical mgs game line, that will keep you guessing for about six amazing games more....which i love beyond comfort, LOL!!!! talk to me later

P.S. FPS means that hideo is mocking first person shooters in the mgs4 preview...
