... I'm a game w**re.
Dead Space. 20$. Does not hurt me financially. That's a game off my this-year's wishlist, I guess I'll be stocked and ready to go for the Christmas holidays. ![]()
I'm not gonna playDead Spaceyet though (probably just a bit of the beginning to make sure this used copy actually works properly
), I'll only start getting into itafter I'm through with my PS2 (which should be happening after I actually get around to finishing Metal Gear Solid 1
). Besides GTA IV andWipEout HD, I have barely played any of the other PS3 games I have. What I see in the coming weeks, I plan on at least beating GTA IV, then MGS1 so I could switch back to my PS2 one last time. It'll be sad to see it go bye-bye once I go through Hitman Blood Money, MGS2 and 3, and Devil May Cry 3Special Edition in which I may not even play as Virgil, due to my rush to sell off my PS2.
And what's even more sad is that I'm not even gonna bother getting through Resident Evil 4 (since I already have done ittwice when I used to have my Gamecube), so I won't even be able to try out those missions with Ada. ![]()
Yes I know what you guys might be thinking to tell me: "Just play them anyway, why not?", but like I said, I hate putting a console on hold, then watch it get covered in dust. So yeah, one console does the trick, as long as it's the latest and offers the next generation of gaming. Hey, I won't forget about PS2 completely, I'll always remember it, even though I've barely had it for like a few months. Who knows, maybe Sony will one day offer downloads of PS2 games off the PlayStation Store which would be made so that it could run a PS3. If that happens, then I'm totally down for getting most of my PS2 games back through there. ![]()
Here's a little randomrant btw: It seems quite obvious who the winner for theGreatestGame Hero will be, and frankly, THAT CERTAINLY ISA JOKE! Since when was Gordan Freeman so bada$$? Well I haven't played much of Half-Life, but after watching a couple of vids on Youtube (like this onefor instance, whichis actually mildly amusing), I don't see what's so amazing about him, unless I'm missing something?
Oh and just to kill some more internet bandwidth, check these songs out, both the same, but one is a pretty effed up remix by Renholder (which I personnaly like, not more than the original of course, but itstill makes the lyrics sound as they were meant to be, dark) :
Drop Dead, Gorgeous - Two Birds, One Stone

@Pharoah__Link: Yeah! Why do people even bother voting at this point?
@Shinobi-Neo:
THE POOR PS2
Bagh, but have fun with Dead Space once you get to it. It's an absolute beast of a game.
What's so badass about Gordon Freeman? Despite the fact that he's just a theoretical physicist, he is one of the few survivors of the Black Mesa Incident (Half-Life 1), basically doing it all on his own fighting back an alien invasion and staving off a military team that was sent in to "contain" the situation. He even traveled into the alien's dimension on his own and took down their leader. Fast forward to HL2, he's doing it again fighting against the Combine occupancy of Earth. Not to mention he's got one of the most badass weapons in a FPS ever: the Zero-Point Energy Field Manipulator, AKA the gravity gun.
@G-Unit1422: I guess I was definitely missing something about Freeman.
@ss4brolyupth: Killzone 2 will be for next year. As for Dead Space, Idk if you noticed, but the beginning of my blog was talking about my purchase for it.
