I'm a big time midnight show goer, and as such I just got back from the Harry Potter midnight show, and boy what a great great movie!! I was heart and soul devoted hopelessly to the books, and as such found that yes, although they left out many things, such is the nature of movie adaptations so get over it to avoid spoilers, they nailed the key parts of the book, and the humor was pretty flippin' funny I personally hate wronchy and sex humor, because to me, it shows a complete lack of intelligence and ability to be able to present a joke without having to resort to what anyone can do, which is dirty jokes, so as such, I loved the humor, especially having read the books The ending, I'm happy to say, was just as good as the book (I use the word 'good' to avoid giving anything possible away) and slightly exceeded expectations. The graphics, the acting, everything was top notch. Sure, there were a few things here and there that they kinda skipped, and certain parts of the book they skipped altogether, but shoot, this is a MOVIE, not the book. If I want details I'll bust out the book, so, for what it is, it's a fantastic movie. Everyone go see it

Can't say I'm a fan of the series, but I'm glad the fans like it.

I am a fan of the books although I was getting bored towards the end of the series, I was like 'OMG just hurry up and end already' although the last chapter of Deathly Hallows was rubbish. I did read the whole book on day of release mind you. I might go see the film tomorrow, my brother saw it today. And you say your not a fan of sex humour but your an American, you're programmed to like toilet and crass humour, at least the British do it well.

Ahhhh...glad to hear it. I've always been a fan of the books myself, and I've enjoyed the last 3 movies quite a bit aswell.

The Half-Blood Prince may be the strongest book of the series.

Cool, I'll see it sometime. I'm a fan of the books, and it angers me every time the movies leave out parts of the book.... But what the hell, I've seen every movie in the series thus far, why not see the next?

@bluezy: it was pretty good haha
@david_ick: as you should my friend, as you should.
@johnsteed7: they did a very good job of that part too, although it was different than the book
@nirvanaphoenix: don't be stupid. that's like saying oh you're british that means you're a stuck up snobby moron that nobody likes.
@bbkristian: that's what i do with most movies haha
raven_squad: ya, i hated the first couple movies, and I wasn't impressed with the third, but the last three have been pretty dang good
@muchlax99: that's cool that's cool. I can respect that.
@LK-47: I'd highly recommend it
@IronBass: For me, the third one was the most powerful, just because it had a very emotional impact and an ending NOBODY saw coming
@Allicrombie: you gotta let me know what you thought of it!
@angelbless: do it do it do it!!
@Lionheart08: as you should!
@pigfish2: so long as you get around to it haha
@tennis12master: exactly! You live once, you might as well live it up! haha

I liked the books so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this movie (I'm probably seeing it in a few weeks to avoid the huge opening weekend crowds). They've pretty much always been leaving lots of stuff out ever since the books got a bit too long for one movie It's nice to know that you have a good opinion of the movie, makes me feel a lot more comfortable seeing it.
