I think this will be my last blog of questions until I get it. Ok so how does the Red Rings Of Death occure exactly? Is it from over heating or something? Cuz I'll probly buy a fan for it a.s.a.p. And how much is a warranty? I don't want to go and find out I don't have enough for it( although I think I might anyway). Thanks!
over and out..... ... .. .

The 360 comes with a 3 year warranty against the RROD and the E74 error. If you buy an extra warranty it depends on the store. Either way I'd keep my reciept in a safe place just in case. The cause I've heard is heat, but I've seen people who barely play get it while marathon gamers luck out and miss it. As far as fans, you can use the intercooler. One of the 360s I own uses it and it does keep it cooler, but it also adds noise. I don't think they're worth it.

Well, zgreenwell explained pretty well.

I think heat is the reason, but I am not sure.

Heat is the issue that causes the RROD. I have heard several people say that the new XBox 360's have a different chipset in them and are less likely to get it... but then I hear of people getting it. Make sure your XBox 360 is in a well ventalated place and personally I don't play for more than a couple of hours. I hope this helps!
