I just came back from 300 and i got to say that movie was one of the best movies i saw (of course not as good as lord of the rings). If you like action movies and dont mind a little bit of blood (and by that i mean lots of blood which awesome!) you should see this movie.

I like it as a movie but the fact that it ruins the history is so annoying! there is no such account in the history of neither Greece nor Persia! they show Persians as savages and wild people but forgot that they themselves were true savages! Persians don't have any blacks amongst them! they don't know s**t about the Persian history so this movie shouldn't be categorized in "History"!!!

but in my opinion 300 is a fantasy movie so it dont really need to be accurate, i mean it could have been 300 humans against milion aliens, the whole sparta and persia thing is just to give it litlle bit more backround.
