Okeedoke. I just wanna start off by saying, that I think all TV shows are great and that all the cast and crew of every TV show is brilliant, because I know that I could never make anything of my own air on national or even international television. I am deeply inspired and very well entertained by all of the entertainment industry's hard work.

I was on the TV.com site and I was browsing around, and I read that CSI had some ratings go up, maybe due to an actor leaving, or maybe there was a rerun of Grey's Anatomy. Now, there are all these people who are CSI fans, one of them being me and with the help of modern-day technology, I also watch Grey's Anatomy and I'm also a Grey's fan.

Some CSI fans are saying things like "greys suckz!!!!! i watchd 5mins of it and i fell aslep.......... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. csi rockz!!!!"

Number One. I'm not asking everyone to type formally like I am right now, I'm completely fine with casual talk, but sometimes, people should really double-check their stuff if they want to voice their opinion properly and effectively.

Number Two. I seriously feel so ashamed of being a fan of Crime Scene Investigation, if my fellow fans actually judge shows by a five minute preview. And I presume it's all exaggeration, with the falling asleep and stuff, but the real point is that I hate it when people say they don't like a show, when they've never really watched it.

There are a lot of shows I haven't watched, but are still great hits in America and worldwide, such as Supernatural, One Tree Hill and 7th Heaven. I've never watched Will and Grace or The Sopranos or Seinfeld, even though people have said that they're the funniest comedies you can ever experience.

Sometimes, the target audience isn't aimed at you. It's why elderly people don't watch The OC, or little kids don't watch ER. Statisticly, shows like Lost and House have the numbers, and that's great, but people shouldn't "hate" shows just because they "hear" that The West Wing is "boring", have some independence and watch shows yourself and judge for yourself what's good and what's not. If you've never seen a show, how do you really know if it's good or not?

Sometimes great shows just air at the same time as other great shows. Thursdays is a real hazard for me, getting access to all the shows that air at 9pm. I'm a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy, CSI, The OC, 30 Rock and Scrubs. I've never watched Supernatural on Thursday nights and I never doubted it was a good show. I bought the DVDs recently to see what the fuss was all about, and well, I'm sorry to all the fans out there, but it's just not for me, it's not my taste. But the point is, I tried to watch it, so then that would give me the right to judge it and make an opinion. I'm not judging it just because The OC was showing and I watched that instead.

And that goes for all the shows I watch. Mondays nights are gonna be real hectic now on TV.com. I've watched 24 since the beginning and it's been 6 years now. On NBC, I'm taping Heroes which has only just started its run. I love both those shows so much, they're both in my top 10, but I know that there will be people on the forums or in TV.com news saying things like "heroes iz da best!!!! 24 sux!!!" and "24 iz da greatest! wat kinda name is 'heroez" anyway? 24 ALL THE WAY!!".

It just pains me to see people like that, it makes me feel shame and it's really disheartening to be a fan. I work so hard to watch as many shows as I can just so I can try to understand why people say things like that, I mean, I enjoy watching a lot of my shows, but people take it away by being... like that.

Anyway. This is quite long, so I'm gonna stop.

It's the beginning of a new year, so I hope everybody has a 2007 that's better than 2006. It's going to be a great year for television, and hopefully a great year for life. Don't get too happy though, I mean a "happy new year"?... 8760 hours of continual happiness could really kill someone. But anyway, you know that.

Survivor
Well, time flies and now it's down to only 5 now. Yul, Becky, Sundra, Adam and Ozzy. Yul has the idol, Ozzy's probably the strongest, most consistently dominant player, Sundra is probably my favourite survivor. Becky doesn't deserve it. I suspect the final 3 will be Sundra, Ozzy and Yul. And hopefully, Sundra wins.

Lost/Prison Break/Heroes
Too many cliffhangers, too long a hiatus. I hate hiatus!

Nip/Tuck
Nip/Tuck's come to an end and looks like Christian and Sean have moved to LA. I wonder who's gonna be back next season, seeing Matt/Kimber are still in Miami and Julia/Annie/Connor are in New York. I hope they bring it up a notch, it's not the Nip/Tuck before.

Amazing Race
Tyler and James won... I was hoping Lyn/Karlyn won, they deserved it more, but they weren't really great people. I guess all of them were a bit of an ass at times. I woulda been happier if Rob and Kimberly won.

America's Next Top Model
Carideeeeeeeee! Probably my favourite winner so far. Except Yoanna from Season 2. I think Eugena shoulda been out a long time ago. Brooke and AJ deserved to stay.

The OC
The OC definitely stepped up their standards last episode. Ryan and Taylor's dream was awesome and eye-opening. Good to see Jimmy again, and interesting to see Sandy going for mayor, Kirsten as well. a really scary Kirsten, and Che and Julie is just the wrongest affair. Poor Seth though, funny he's the only one that believes Ryan, but hten again. he's Seth.

Scrubs/American Dad/Family Guy/The Simpsons
I hope they do a great episode before their hiatus. They've had some great episodes so far.

So. A lot of my shows are on hiatus for the holidays. Shows that have been disrupted this month, or have been taking a break:

Family Guy, Prison Break, American Dad, Lost, The Simpsons, Heroes, House, Bones, 'Til Death, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Ghost Whisperer, Monk, CSI:NY.

Being a fan of all your shows is so difficult sometimes. Sigh.. But anyway. Season 4 of Nip/Tuck is coming to an end on the 12th. America's Next Top Model winner is Caridee English, which I'm glad of. Tried watching these two new shows, 10 Items or Less and My Boys, but they just don't do it for me.

Television's a bit boring, right now. Stupid hiatus.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like mx282.
mx282 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could mx282 possibly have for not rating a single film?
