War.. has changed...

Yes i know... it's been a while, but something has brought me back to the gaming world. Somthing that i never thought would.

I thought my time with games was done, i had my fun with my DS and collected all the best games, but they didnt last long. The only use i get out of my DS now is an alarmclock.

You may also notice in my previous post that i have collected what i believe to be the best Wii games. What you may not no is that i do not own a Wii.. I figured id buy all the games first then when i had enough i would get the Wii so that i would not have to worry about getting all the games. But everything else in life distracted me i didnt feel the need to buy one even though i had already spent the money on those games. They collect dust and have yet to be played.

There has been no other Wii or DS games since the ones i have listed that look good or would even consider getting(other than MOON and CORE for the DS).

Then i guess i just simply lost interest knowing that Resident Evil 5 was so far away and on no console that i owned.

But then out of no where my brother gave me his PS3.. i guess it's because he only cared about one game, Madden. and thats all he owned since he bought the PS3. Then i guess he just lost interes. He was only into sports games.

I never thought i would be a playstation owner but there it was. And the game i knew i had to get but wasnt sure about was none other than MGS4: GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS.

I was hooked.. I had never played a MGS game before. It was simpley amazing and I believe that this game is what all games should be like. With amazing visuals a killer storyline and gameplay mechanics that feel so right It dsucked me in and never let me out. I for the first time since RE4 was WOWed. i couldnt put the game down. And i can safely say after beating the game that it is..... THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME...

I never knew that the MGS series had such an immense storyline and one that blows my favourite series out of the water(resient evil, incase you didnt know).

Howeve, RE4 and then the REmake are a close seconde and from what i have seen so far from RE5 i have high hopes that it will replace MGS4 as my greatest game of all time. But untill then i will try to find all the rest of the metal gear series and play through them to fully understand the story.

If you have a PS3 you must get MGS4.

GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS has changed the way i look at video games and creates the standered of how all next gen games should be.
