Carrie Marie Underwood (born March 10, 1983 in Muskogee, Oklahoma) is an American country singer-songwriter. She rose to fame as the winner of the fourth season of American Idol, and has become a multi-platinum selling recording artist and a multiple Grammy Award winner. Her debut album, Some Hearts, was certified seven times platinum and is the fastest selling debut country album in Nielsen SoundScan history.[1] Some Hearts yielded three number one hits on the Billboard Country charts in the United States and Canada: "Jesus, Take the Wheel","Wasted", and her biggest hit to date, "Before He Cheats". Additionally "Don't Forget to Remember Me" topped the charts in Canada. Underwood scored another Top 10 Billboard hit with her charity single, "I'll Stand by You". Tom Braidwood (born September 27, 1948) is a Canadian actor known for the role of Melvin Frohike, one of the conspiracy theorists known as the Lone Gunmen on the American television series The X-Files. Braidwood also served as an assistant director on the show from seasons one through five; was a second unit director on Millennium, another show from Chris Carter, the creator of The X-Files; and a producer of the second season of the Canadian TV series Da Vinci's Inquest, on which he also directed some episodes.

In addition to The X-Files, Braidwood also appeared as Frohike in the spin-off series The Lone Gunmen, which aired 13 episodes in 2001.

He was born in Bellflower, California to William and Catherine Carter. In college, he majored in journalism, graduating from California State University Long Beach in 1979. His brother, W. Craig Carter, is a Lord Foundation Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT.

Carter began writing for Surfing magazine out of college. For the next five years, he traveled around the world both as a freelance writer and as the magazine's associate editor.

A big break in his career came in 1985, when Jeffrey Katzenberg, then chairman of Walt Disney Studio Entertainment, read a screenplay he wrote and signed him to development with Walt Disney Pictures. He has also appeared in Stargate SG-1 as Damaris, a Prior of the Ori and as Mayor Tate on Smallville. Most recently he has appeared in ABC's Masters of Science Fiction as the President of the United States.

Davis was born in Toronto, Canada, to an attorney father and psychologist mother.[1] A former drama professor at Bishop's University, he is the founder of the William Davis Centre for Actors Study acting school in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is also a former national champion water skier. Despite being known for his smoking character, Davis actually quit smoking in the 1970s; when The X-Files started up, he was given a choice between herbal cigarettes and actual cigarettes. At first he chose the actual cigarettes, but switched to herbal shortly after for fear of becoming addicted again while playing the Cigarette Smoking Man.

Nicholas Lea (born June 22, 1962 as Nicholas Christopher Schroeder, and later known as Nicholas Christopher Herbert) is a Canadian actor best known for his work on The X-Files playing Alex Krycek.Lea was born in New Westminster, British Columbia. He attended Prince of Wales Secondary (Grad of 1980). His first major role was on the TV series The Commish where he played Officer Enrico Caruso from 1991 to 1994. It was during this time that he had a minor guest role in a first-season episode of The X-Files called "Gender Bender."

The producers were impressed by his performance and when, in the second season, he auditioned for the role of turncoat FBI agent Alex Krycek, he was successful. Lea guest starred in eleven episodes from 1994 to 1996 and became a popular character amongst the fans. Because of his character's willingness to switch sides, he was known as the 'ratboy'. In the season three episode "Apocrypha," Krycek was left to die in an abandoned silo with an alien ship.

This allowed Lea to take a starring role in the series Once a Thief - which followed on from the 1996 John Woo film - alongside Ivan Sergei. The series was cancelled after one season. Lea continued to play Krycek, who became a nemesis not just of Mulder and Scully but particularly of A.D. Skinner (Mitch Pileggi). In various capacities, Lea continued appearing on the show until his character was killed off by A.D. Skinner in the Season 8 finale, although he later returned to the role for the ninth season's, and the series' finale.

In 2006, Lea had a role on Kyle XY playing Tom Foss, Kyle's tutor, and was one of the lead actors (playing Ethan McKaye) on the Canadian TV series Whistler. He was also that series' associate producer. He did not return to Whistler for its second season in 2007.

He has guest starred in shows such as NYPD Blue, Andromeda, Sliders, Highlander: The Series, Judging Amy, CSI (as Catherine Willows' boyfriend) and Men in Trees (as Eric, the minister). He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Lyric School of Acting in Vancouver.

However, he is best known for his performances on the television series The X-Files. Owens initially guest starred as the younger version of William B. Davis's character, the Cigarette Smoking Man, in a 1996 episode "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man". He returned in 1997 in the same role in an episode called "Demons". Later that year, he played the Frankenstein-esque Great Mutato in a surreal episode called "The Post-Modern Prometheus".In 1998, Owens was cast as Agent Jeffrey Spender, son of the Cigarette Smoking Man and alien abductee Cassandra Spender (Veronica Cartwright). Spender was credited as 'Also Starring' but only appeared in eight episodes, spread across the show's fifth and sixth seasons, before his character died at the hand of his father. Annabeth Gish (b. Anne Elizabeth Gish on March 13, 1971 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is a contemporary American actress known for starring roles in Shag, The X-Files, Mystic Pizza and Double Jeopardy.

Gish was born to Robert and Judy Gish. Her grandmother was named Lillian, but Annabeth is not related to the early silent film actress sisters Lillian Gish and Dorothy Gish. When she was 2, her family moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa, where she grew up with her brother Tim and sister Robin. Her father was an English professor at the University of Northern Iowa; her mother was an elementary school educator.

Gish is married to former X-Files stuntman Wade Allen and the two have a son named Cash Alexander Allen born on 12 January 2007.

During her youth, Gish accumulated significant acting experience that culminated with a starring role in the 1986 teen film Desert Bloom. During this time she was active in the Lutheran denomination and became fluent in Spanish. Gish went to Northern University High School in Cedar Falls, Iowa where she graduated in 1989. She attended Duke University where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and focused her energies on the drama program, film studies and women's studies. She received a BA in English in July 1993. Numerous television and film appearances followed, building on her previous teen acting experiences.

In 2001, Gish joined the cast of The X-Files as Special Agent Monica Reyes after series star David Duchovny announced his intention to leave the show. During the eighth and ninth seasons, Gish and fellow newcomer Robert Patrick became the show's principal characters and it was presumed that the two could carry on the show even after Gillian Anderson left. While it is generally agreed their performances were good, ratings continued to drop with the departure of Duchovny and his dynamic with Gillian Anderson; the ninth season of The X-Files became the show's last.

In 2003, Gish guest-starred on The West Wing playing Elizabeth Bartlet Westin, eldest daughter of President Josiah Bartlet (Martin Sheen). She appeared several times over the following seasons, rounding out the fictional Bartlet family also consisting of First Lady Abigail Bartlet (Stockard Channing) and daughters Ellie (Nina Siemaszko) and Zoey (Elisabeth Moss).

In 2006, Gish played the role of Julia in the independent movie The Celestine Prophecy and costarred in Candles on Bay Street alongside Eion Bailey and Alicia Silverstone. In the same year, Gish began a continuing major role in the eleven-episode Showtime drama Brotherhood. There she plays fictional Rhode Island State Representative Tommy Caffee's wife Eileen, who strives to maintain a model political family while struggling with adultery and drug abuse. He is the brother of Filter lead singer Richard Patrick. He is married to actress Barbara Patrick who appeared with him in some of his films such as Zero Tolerance and as Barbara Doggett in two episodes of The X-Files. He has a daughter (Austin) and a son (Samuel). Almost every year, he does the Love Ride, an annual motorbike race that raises money for charities.

Patrick shot to fame by starring opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He played the T-1000, a Terminator that assumed human form but was made of a substance that could imitate anything it touched; his character fought against Schwarzenegger's now 'good' T-800.
