After the open-house, I accumulated a total of 92 sweet, sweet (Singapore) dollars plus whatever other money I have in my purse. So I decided to geek out and pop by Kinokuniya today. I was sorely tempted to get a bunch of light novels from Tokyopop - the 2 Twelve Kingdoms novels out, and anything related to Boogiepop Phantom (seriously, a VERY confusing anime series) - and I would have if I hadn't visited the comics section first.

Remember me asking about which X-Men comic had Joss Whedon as the writer? Well I found the Astonishing X-Men Omnibus without any problems, but if I bought it, I wouldn't have 92 sweet, sweet dollars no more. Well I wouldn't have cared, such is the fangirl that I am, but I decided to wait till Kino has their 20% promotion thing going on before buying.

So I got Y: The Last Man Deluxe Edition Book One and Powers: The Definitive Hardcover Collection Volume One. Yay Brian K. Vaughan. Yay Retro Girl. I'm sad though that I couldn't find Book Two of Y, and I couldn't buy Volume Two and Three of Powers without spending too much.

Ugh. It's killing me that I'm not getting a complete collection. I will return to Kino again next time to get what I missed, and all those light novels! After getting my DDR this weekend!

Grar if it's not games, it's books, comics and DVDs.

Well clothes too sometimes. Spent like, 39 bucks on 2 tank tops recently as well. I'm not sure what possessed me to spend that much on some skank ho wear.

Gaming-wise, I played probably an hour of ODST before I died. I was being really noob-ish and not taking cover, but just rushed headlong into the fire. Oh well. I can't give an impression on the game yet because all I did was try getting used to the controls and then promptly dying afterwards. Will play more nearer to the weekends.

Instead, I spent more time playing Guitar Hero 5 again, to the point that I got an Achievement for playing 100 songs in Quick Play. But it's bull I tell you! 20 points for playing some puny 14 songs, and another 20 points for 100 songs? Another thing I would like to complain about is that you can't use the 360 controller for guitar/bass, like you're able to in 2 and 3. Why? I don't have 2 guitar controllers, and when my friends came over, we couldn't play 5 together because none of us want to sing. ):
Eh whatever. Next goal - 300 songs for 30 points. Psshh what a whore.

Rather cute office guy backed out of his Batman AA deal, that evil guy. He wants to get Modern Warfare 2 instead. Well I'm not bothered that much because as soon as I posted a sales thread, the game was snapped up in minutes.

Money.

Makes me happy.

Something else that'll make me happy as well is if this rather random small lump that suddenly appeared on my neck, disappears. What the heck? Should I be worried? I still haven't changed my hospital appointment to Friday because I keep forgetting to. Ugh. I hope there's a slot for me because as much as I want to skip Thursday's c|ass I'd better not.

Sleep makes me happy too.
