This doesn't surprise me much but it's just sad to hear of IW taking money from MS so that 360 owners can get first dubs on the new maps. Here's the link.

Meh It's not too surprising since ms took assassin's creed and dmc 4 and bought exclusive content on GTAIV. I think ps3 owners should at least get a discount on the pack for having to wait. But then again if ms wants to spend a buttload of money for making something exclusive for 3 weeks it just kinda signals that they are desperate. And people though the system wars between nintendo and sega was visceral.
BTW:: I didn't see anywhere in that article besides the comments that someone mentioned the ms payoff.

Spinning brings up a good point...dropping alot of money for a 3 week exclusive isn't that smart...but hopefully the maps will be of the same quality on the PS3 when it comes to it...

It wouldn't surprise me if they had a deal going in. Who got the patch first, 360, who will get the map content first 360. IW claimed that COD4 was built from the ground up for both systems, they were released the same time, yet, 360 gets fist dubs on updates?
I'm going to put more focus on exclusive games. Haze, MGS4, R2, etc.

Yep, its likely to happen, because Microsoft can easily offer more than Sony, and I have to say it. The games industry is mainly about money, so if you get offered a ridiculous amount your gonna take it.

Oh yeah, just so you all know. The maps are awesome! One is a snipers best friend with basically the whole team as snipers. One I played seemed even smaller than Shipment, so lots of chaos was caused there.

They also got that trailer for world at war on Xbox Live early, and NO money was involved, also the next cod is being built mainly for 360 with the top developers and coders on that system team. I have a 360 so im not worried, wait what console will I get it for? Oh....
