I absolutely hate the new My Yahoo!, and I no longer see the option to continue using the old version. If it is gone for good I will find a new portal to use as my homepage, such as MSN. I don't want to do this; I have used My Yahoo! since I bought my first computer 9 years ago, and I have always preferred Yahoo! search to Google.

I don't even have much constructive to say about why I hate the new version; mainly just that it is new, and I was comfortable with the old.

I guess one thing that bothers me is that when I choose to view summaries with the headlines, the headlines are not distinct enough from the summaries. They are the exact same font and size; only the color is slightly different. This makes it EXTREMELY difficult to just scan through the headlines and read the summaries of only those which interest me. If you there was an option to bold the headlines and/or make them a larger font and/or underline them, it would be much easier to scan through them. If you make it harder for people to view something they like, they will go somewhere else for the content.

Please consider leaving the original My Yahoo! available for us old-timers who were happy with it and don't care about "Web 2.0" or additional interactivity on our portal to the World Wide Web.

I sometimes use google for search, but have used the my yahoo portal as my home page practically since i got my first computer in 1999. i mainly look at a few comics and scan some headlines, sort of like an RSS reader.
