So here i am, with a rare weekend all to myself, with no wife or kids and just a few chores; a perfect time to catch up on some serious gaming...what? My graphics card is dying? Artifacts all over any 3D app as soon as I open it? Damn. OK, not a problem, i'll just fire up the trusty old Xbox for some Burnout, Crimson Skies, and GTA: III action! What? The Xbox is dead, too? Hmm, not good. OK, let's play some Jewel Quest on the mobile phone while considering going to town to pick up a used Xbox. WHAT?? The phone has died, also??? This blows! The Man is out to get me! Technology hates me! OK, i'll just call up some real, live, flesh-and-blood friends and go hang ou...oh wait the damn phone is dead, and my wife has the other one with her. I guess it's time to shower and shave, and go get a replacement phone and a 6-pack, and watch TV/movies all weekend. Screw the chores. At least the satellite box and DVD player worked as of last night. Although the CD player died, so no loud music in the living room while reading a book by oil lamp, or scrawling on the cave walls ....
UPDATE: I had this brilliant idea to patch my MP3 player into my home stereo thru the AUX input (i already had a patch cable), but you guessed it - the MP3 player is broken, also. Sound only from right side. Oh, well, WTF.
