Previously, on this blog: The Grand Canyon.
And now, the conclusion...
The wedding went very well, though it was a bit cold for my taste (it was an outdoor wedding.) But the reception was indoors and there was an open bar, which most people enjoyed. ![]()
The next day the bride's family hosted a lunch but apparently they have cats and so my allergies kicked in. (Cats = evil!) But I managed to survive and get back after that to L.A. Our final day there was spent with some sight-seeing - Rodeo drive, Sunset Blvd. We couldn't quite get to Mann's Chinese theatre because that was the day of the Leatherheads premiere and so it was blocked off and they were setting up the red carpets and so on.
There's not much to tell really, other than about the usual tensions about early morning flights and airports. Suffice to say I got back with no luggage missing. I did get confirmation that in my absence the Condo sale went through and I've picked up my keys. So, moving in will keep me busy for the next few weeks. Also, my company's new office building was opened - not sure if I like it entirely, but I do have a partial view of the sea - I'll have to post some pictures one of these days...
THE END.

As far as stories go a bit of an anti-climax but you've got to work with the material available!
Allergic to cats? That's something for the 'things you didn't know about me' section!
PB, I didn't stop at Hoover Dam - I did that on my last trip and was on a bit of a schedule this time around.
Dan, I kinda figure all the recent blogs have been a bit more personal, so I put that section on hiatus. I'll have to dust it off the next time I have one of those TV.com milestone blogs.
I couldn't imagine living with cats, Lin, I start having breathing issues within an hour.
You're right George, it was a bit anticlimatic, but it was a great night and a happy occasion for all involved.
I detest outdoor weddings.
Congrats on the condo going thru, man.

A view of the sea? Lucky. My office is in the basement.
