I think the game is fun! I like warm up my tires before a race. It helps with grip something you didn't get in other games. If you slipped on the line you lost due to either blowing the engine, crashing or just coming in last! lol The so called new race seems old with a new name. Speed Challenge seems more like Speed Trap. You now have an in game tutor which tells you the speed line around each corner and when to brake and how fast to take a corner. Getting used to the controls will take some gettin used to but seem to work better. I'm enjoying this game seeing that I'm using the cheat codes to get better cars. They start you out with slow crappy cars! I hate that!

I still think this game was waste of EA's time another quick buck. I was expectiong that they will make a good return of the series to the next-gen consoles. Yeah I can wait and see, but I should not expect anything from EA. I wanted to know if the game has many tracks?

It has a lot of tracks. Most of them are not the same when doing grip and drift. The drift tracks are much shorter. It feels like you are forced to drift. Can't build up enough speed and traction control is on as well as Anti lock brakes and some kinda computer control system! How can you get side ways with all that stuff on? lol Needless to say I like the Speed and Drag races the most! Speed races don't use the same tracks as other modes either. You are right when you say it's a waste. I like hitting my top speed and not driving around in circles going 20 to 30 mph around a good portion of the track because all that crap is slowing you down.

I don't know the latest need for speed games just don't draw me in. It ended for me at Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 (Playstation 2). I like the need for speed series but the old ones. I just got the first The Need for Speed for the PlayStation with the old big box in like new condition. It just reminded me how ea usetobe awwsome. As for the ProStreet I will try the game when it gets down to $20-$10. Just as I did with Underground 1 & 2.

Good to hear it has lot of tracks. I love when racing games have lot of tracks to choose from. For me it's an important feature.
