I've said so much about myself, I'll have to dig deep and add spice to make this one interesting.

1. One of these15 things is NOT true. Which one?

2. I cannot fly. Recurring dreams of plane crashes= no flying.

3. I'm a master of hap ki do, a non-violent cane fighting technique.

4. I lost my virginity by being raped by a girl when I was 22.

5. I have two deceased brothers; one died in a fire, one committed suicide.

6. My hair is jet black. I was born platinum blonde and stayed that way until I was four.

7. I have two more brothers. One is in jail for life on a murder charge that he didn't commit.

8. I painted the entire interior of our house in one week last year.

9. I was told I would not live to be 25 when I was in the hospital at age 21. I'm 32.

10. I've owned over 15 computers in the last 10 years. Only 2 fizzled out.

11. Thelargest amount ofgirls that wanted to date me at the same time is eight. The one I chose ended up as my wife.

12. Our entire kitchen (except appliances)is comprised almost completely of hand-made or yard/rummage sale items. (See below)

13. I was 12 the first time a girl tried to have sex with me.

14. I was alleged by my classmatesto have had a student-teacher affair with a lovely lady professor whilst in college. I did not.

15. The total price of my wife and I's wedding bands was $21.20.

Here's half the kitchen, so you can decide for yourself:

The Kitchen

I'll give the correct answer as to which fact was false on my next blog, maybe.

I think it is number 4 lol.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 7:09 am PT
I remember you saying you were against pre-marital sex so I can see 4 happening. 14?
Posted Oct 26, 2009 7:25 am PT
Number 1 is false.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 7:33 am PT
Interesting list - I vote for #1.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 7:47 am PT
I think it's number one, because from number 2-15 are true.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 8:12 am PT
Number 1 is obviously not true.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 8:27 am PT
I think its number 1.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 8:39 am PT
If item 1 is false, and no other items are false, then item 1 must be true. Thus, at least one other item on the list must be true. This is the logical problem with self reflective lists and truth statements. If you removed items 2 through 15, you'd be left with, 1) This statement is false. As is, you still leave the possibility of item 1 being true.

@lazyhoboguy: Guess again. That one's true.

@AlmightyMax: That happened too. I used to walk across campus after class with her because we were going to the same building. We'd chat along the way. That little thing grew into us allegedly having an affair.

@Aberinkulas: Positive about that?

@MJoanne: Are you very sure? @kleeyook: Another vote for number one counted!

@johnsteed7: Obviously? Are you sure?

@Auron11012: Think so? It's possible. Or I might not be a master at Hap-Ki-Do either. Hmm.

@grigjd3: Dizzying isn't it? I struggled with these problems when I was younger. Or, it could be more simplistic. Something in 2-14 might be readily false, with no trickery involved. Hmm.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 9:23 am PT
Of course, I am not sure but it seemed like a safe guess.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 9:39 am PT
Oh. My. Gosh. We have the same chair cushions! I'm also surprised to learn that I can relate to two of those facts...
Six all the way, baby.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 12:09 pm PT
Number #1
Posted Oct 26, 2009 12:51 pm PT
Ooh, I like the kitchen! It looks very nice.

As to the false fact, I feel like going with 6. I know I'm probably wrong though.

(Six is my final answer)

I don't know what to say. No matter WHICH one I pick, it'll still leave at least one other ridiculous object to be true. It's like Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, except theres only Peter Sagle and no Carl Castle. Hmmm.......

Unless... It could be 1 due to the fact that they're ALL false, but - no, no, I remember about your brother and AlmightyMax is right - You are against premaritial sex..... I can't see 13 happening unless there was a lot of alchohol involved, or something else..... 4, while a possibility...... I just don't see it happening to you. This is the year after you got out of the hospital, right?...... There's more to hapkido than canes, but it is a self-defense art.... Your hair seems to be black in that old baseball photo of yours.... You DID have a lot of wannabe girlfrieds when you met tprezzy12...

OK. I'm gonna wing it and just say it's either 4 or 13
Posted Oct 26, 2009 1:49 pm PT
Hmmmm.... #6!
Posted Oct 26, 2009 2:08 pm PT
I'm pretty sure they're all false, so if one is false which says that "ONE thing is not true" then all of them could be not true. Perfect!
Posted Oct 26, 2009 2:55 pm PT
Going back to photo in August 27 blog (the Randy Quaid/Eminem love child photo as I like to call it)... Let's see... Page loading... And HA! NOT JET BLACK!

#6.

And that's quite a list! I once hid under mom & dad's bed during, well, you know. I was going to jump out and surprise them, but thought better of it once the festivities began. Sheesh. Once in fifteen years and I gotta be there...
Posted Oct 26, 2009 2:56 pm PT
number eleven is the one that doesn't sound quite right to me.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 3:47 pm PT
@korino55: Heh, yay for cushions. 6 is definitely true. I will upload the pics to prove next blog. So...which is the other you can relate to?

@Jerry 15: Maybe, or maybe not...

@twilightlullaby: Thanks! The pic on the wall is actually a puzzle I did and framed. Most of the other stuff I built or bought at yard sales and fixed up. Oh and 6 is absolutely true. I bleached out my hair in the pics you have seen. Guess again!

@VelociBlade: Frustrating isn't it? 4 is assuredly true, 13 is as well: I was accosted by an older girl on a trampoline one night at a Halloween party. I fought her off.

@Subterranean500: Sorry! I was born blonde, and went black. I only bleach it back to blonde.

@bluej33: I can positively tell you that many of these things are absolutely true.

@eggmcmuff: Think so? My hair's bleached in my Randeminem photo. Sorry! And thanks for crushing my self-esteem too...

@notjessica: Number 11 is very true. When at the radio station, I had 8 potential suitors, including Toni, whom I obviously picked.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 4:19 pm PT
Maybe some other time...
Posted Oct 26, 2009 6:30 pm PT
Jeez all this stuff is serious. Most of them sound so ludicrous and I just met you so...I'll go with the most obvious one 4.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 6:34 pm PT
ARGH. Too difficult to find the one that is fake. I'm guessing ... something. All are weirdly elaborated so you think you have the right answer but at the same time you don't. Maybe you're immortal and #9 is fake. Or maybe 10, although that does seem likely. #5 and #7 are harsh, I didn't know. I'm thinking it is #1, but it's one of those trick questions that you never get right, it's a FREAKIN' paradox!!! I don't know. I say it's 3 cuz fighting with canes implicates the use of violence. AHA got you now! Didn't I? Please tell me the answer, it's eating at my insides.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 7:44 pm PT
Oh, and that kitchen looks comfy.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 7:45 pm PT
Numgber 1 or 12.

Both chosen at random. Except 1. That was chosen because it's the bastard's answer. Or is that the bastard's question?
Posted Oct 26, 2009 7:59 pm PT
I have no idea.. Agh. Please tell us! But still, I pick #1.
Posted Oct 26, 2009 8:00 pm PT
I don't know, I feel like I'm in a maze of confusion and lies!
Posted Oct 26, 2009 8:42 pm PT
Damn, grigjd3 already identified the tautology. That aside, you either have an incredibly interesting life or a very active imagination. I'm guessing you have a very exciting life. I'm guessing the Hapkido (or Hap Ki Do if you prefer) bit is the false statement, but I base that solely on the fact that it includes canes, but by no means is a martial art OF canes (in the way that Escrima exclusively uses bastones or knives). I also have to say, it's not aggressive, but it IS violent... Of course, it might be a point of view that it's non-violent, so I might be mislead by semantics. That's one hell of a list, either way.

I WAS going to say your computers must have died, but you might be a really good owner, and judging by the cleanliness and neatness of your kitchen, that's likely. I doubt you fly for pulmonary reasons, but that's NOW, you could have still learned to fly planes earlier, or maybe ultralights. Hmmm... The hair thing makes sense... some people are born with bleached or melanin-poor tissues, and that corrects with time. The sex I believe easily, although the rape is unfortunate and I'm sorry to hear it. Your brothers... sad, but more likely than 15 computers making it 10 years with only 2 down. Wedding bands are symbolic, and you're definitely bright enough to understand that, as is tprezzy... so I believe that. Hmmmm... good blog!
Posted Oct 27, 2009 3:26 am PT
@Marrium1: Yeah, life stinks sometimes, but I still smile about it, cuz I'm still breathing. But...number 4 is really true. Hard to believe, I know. Still true though.

@Transilvanien: No worries, I'll tell you- in my next blog. Thanks on the kitchen comment.

@Foolz3h: I won't keep you in suspense. 12 is really true. #1 is probably a bastard because it came first and thus didn't have a father...?

@tennis12master: Yeah, but couldn't that also be true in another way?

@polsci1503: Lies? Me? Never. I haven't lied in a million years. And, I never exaggerate either.

@Frame Dragger: Grig's a smart guy. We all know that. Or I could be bluffing and simply have a egregious lie amongst these things. I was taught exclusively to fight in a non-defensive style with canes, which would lead to my descriptive phrase about Hap ki do or Hap-Ki-Do or Hapkido, whichever you prefer. Well, I guess I affirmed that as a true statement. 3, 4, 6, 11, 12 13, 14 all verified as factual information!
Posted Oct 27, 2009 6:17 am PT
@polsci1503 - don't you feel that way every time you read one of prezzy's blogs?
Posted Oct 27, 2009 8:24 am PT
@johnsteed7: Good to see you back to your old form.
Posted Oct 27, 2009 9:15 am PT
No.1 is false obviously.
If not that, then you have let out a LOT of skeletons out of your closet!
Posted Oct 27, 2009 10:33 am PT
@lightwarrior179: Well, I'm not ashamed of anything in my life. I don't feel the need to keep secretes. If someone doesn't like me for it, oh well!
Posted Oct 27, 2009 11:09 am PT
@mprezzy: It's shockingly admirable to see someone with such a strong conviction. I personally have no issues with premarital sex, but to hold ANY arguably positive conviction to the point of... well... rape... is amazing. It's all the more cruel that your wishes were not respected. Still, to have had them in the first place... is, as I said... oddly impressive.
Posted Oct 27, 2009 1:35 pm PT
@Frame Dragger: Well see the funny thing about myself and premarital sex is that I don't exactly and have never exactly held any moral high grounds for myself. I'm just the type of fellow that really always wanted to be in love and get married. I blame society.
Posted Oct 27, 2009 2:32 pm PT
Wow, people are putting alot of thought into this. But I thinks it's either #1 or #7, I pick one though #1 though.
Posted Oct 27, 2009 4:48 pm PT
@johnsteed7 - As in a web of illusion? A cloud of mirrors? A dubious delusion? I can't find my way out!
Posted Oct 27, 2009 6:59 pm PT
@SquareEnixFan13: Yes, it's quite funny. Well hey, better than same old, same old yeah? 7 is true. 1...maybe.
