So, it's been a little while since my last post, but not much has happened really. The only big thing that has happened since is I was accepted into the Marrowstone Music Festival, of which I am very excited for! I went last year and it was quite literally the best two weeks of my life. Amazing people, decent food, and the whole time I'm basically doing one of two things. Hanging with awesome people, or playing awesome music. What can go wrong there?
Yes, so I'm very excited for that, It's a two week camp starting in the last week of july.
On another note, my daily life has been a bit strange. I haven't been doing much. playing guild wars now and then, and practicing music. that's really about all. I am hanging with a few friends downtown tomorrow which I am excited for. Also, I like this girl, but it's really not going too well. She's best friends with my best friends sister, and the only time I really see her is on the bus, when she's with my best friends sister, or when I'm hanging out with him, my best friend, and she's also over at his house. We email back and forth a little, but it's seeming to be one of those annoying "not going anywhere" situations.
Ah well. suggestions anyone?

As for the girl, why not be direct? Next time you see her, if you have a moment alone, just ask her out. Say you'd like to get to know her better, and ask her to something you know she enjoys, like music, movie, food, whatever. Or if you know of a group thing, like a party or an event, ask her if she's going, and if she isn't, invite her if she'd like to go.
I play tenor trombone primarily. Mostly symphonic, but also a lot of jazz, funk, rock, or whoever wants me really.
I've wanted to try drums at some point.
