Sooo, Greta poked my moss and told me it's time for a new blog, and I aim to please...so here goes with a complete round-up of, well, nothing at all.

*Starts to randomly type*
I have a new banner, avatar and signature. With added 'tude. Yup. She's making me all sassy and stuff. Sorry if I shout at you...the banner/avatar/signature made me do it. For those who are thinking "who is she?"...it's Pauley Perrette, who has suddenly thrown Miley Cyrus outta the way in the most popular person list here on TV.com - that's my girl, reach for the stars!!
I work too much. Just sharing that with you. I work too much, I get paid too little, I'm stressed too often and people think I'm superwoman. Note to readers: I am not superwoman, damn it! (Nor am I Catwoman, Batman, Spiderman, Yogi Bear - although I am partial to stealing picnic boxes). Anywhooo, I work too much but I have the next two days off, giving me a 4 day weekend so...hoorah for the four day weekend!
I have been shopping again. More DVDs last week and more books and a couple of games arrived today:

(Not pictured: DVDS - Homicide Life on the Street: Season 6, Gilmore Girls seasons 2-4, Profit and my previously bought NCIS seasons 1-5 and Rear Window. Games - The Orange Box, Lost and Beautiful Katamari. Books - A couple more Patricia Cornwell ones that arrived last week and Whitewash by Alex Kava that I picked up at the supermarket on Monday)
What? I like 'stuff'.
Yup, so twice in a week I haven't been able to get through my front door when I got home because the parcels were in the way. I'm amazed that the postwoman managed to get them through the letterbox (mailbox...whatever, I'm British, shoot me....there's the 'tude again).
Hmmm, what else? I bought a coffee machine over the weekend. Yum yum. Tastes oh so good. I no longer have to be jealous of...everyone with coffee machines.
I have been dieting for a month. I have lost 9lbs thus far. My healthy eating has been punctuated by videos from Discovery Channel's National Body Challenge (e.g. Warmup, Cardio Challenge (that one is fun...I like punching), Cool Down). Fun stuff.
As some of you have read from Danbambridge's blog, it's cold in the UK currently. We've been snow free today where I am, but we're due to get snow again tonight/tomorrow/friday with temps dropping to -7c (which is collllld for the UK).
I think that's all I have to share with you, so if anyone needs me...I'll be snuggled under my blankey with a nice hot cup of coffee.
Bye for now!

Love the new avatar and banner - looks great!
Where are you going to start with all the things you have to watch and read?
I don't have The Orange Box, but Rod loaded Half Life 2 on my computer and I've been playing that a bit, as well as my new Wii at home.

Ilyana: Thanks! I like the new pretties too! Not sure where I'll start - I think I want to watch Strangers on a Train pretty soon...I've been dying to watch that for ages now. I think I'll watch An Affair to Remember on Sunday....that's totally a "Snuggle under blankey on Sunday afternoon" movie! On the games, not sure which I'll try first - I'm thinking maybe Beautiful Katamari because I'm feeling like a bit of gentle fun!! I'll let you know what I think of The Orange Box!

Stu: This is the third attempt at a comment for you because my blog keeps eating it. Let's try this again:
You know you love the new 'tude - I learnt from the best.
We should totally ask for better pay from our bosses...but I doubt they could pay either of us enough to be happy.
I do have lots to do! I bought the Patricia Cornwell books so that you don't have to tut at me for not reading them in order.
Coffee machine just finished brewing, smells great, can't wait to drink it! No coffee machine for the store missy, you need more than coffee.
Thanks on the kudos - and thanks for pointing me in the direction of the NBC! The workouts are great fun.
Snow cat man was funny!! Someone at work suggested snow giraffe man next.
I don't mind the snow too much, as long as I can still get where I need to be I'm fine with it.
New blog time is way overdue I think! I shall certainly enjoy the blankey and coffee & NCIS!!

Nice set of DVD's you got there. Do you collect DVD's? I try to collect DVD's of different TV shows.
Also, nice kitty pic.

Twisted-Alien: I don't really collect DVDs, but when there is a sale on and I can get a box-set for 50% off, I tend to grab it - which is why I have so many box-sets up there! It generally takes me a long time to get shows on DVD because I try to wait for them to come down in price - I do like having them to rewatch when I want to though.

If you truly want to pamper yourself, get a coffee grinder. When properly roasted coffee beans are ground, they MUST be used within an hour, otherwise oxidation starts to corrupt the taste (and that's bad, mmm-kay). Once you've tried a cup made from recently ground beans, you will NEVER go back to something you've scooped out of a Maxwell House tin.
A fellow "Homicide: Life on the Streets" fan! Eeeeexcelent! Clark Johnson (Det. Lewis) is a canuck, y'know eh?
You'll always be Super Woman to me.

*Didn't know who Pauley Perrette was* *Looked her up to avoid getting smacked*
Amen about working hard and not getting paid enough! I'm a teacher...I understand you on that one. You are a shopaholic! Mmmmmmmmm coffee! I love it...but I can't have it...
It's cold everywhere...where's Mr. Sun?

I think Stu was right the first time, it's not a good new look.
time to bring back the old one! lol
So you get paid too little but still have room to buy out HMV?
I'm anticipating lots of snow so that I can finally get a day off work for nothing! I don't have a temp gauge in my car so I'm not sure if we've got down to -7 here yet but it's been damn freezing!

Pikastatic: Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the avatar and banner. I love the lolcats too!
Angelwomyn: Abby is so cool!! Lolcats are always good!
Kadodian: I love Gilmore Girls - Lorelai makes me laugh!

Vicky24c: Thanks! I'm pleased with them!
Hoeech: Working on the coffee grinder - figured I'd get used to the machine first, then get the grinder.
Yep, I like a bit of Homicide: Life on the Street now and then, Munch is my man though.
Superwoman...only on good days.

BB: You should be ashamed of yourself missy!! Ashamed, you hear me?!
I'm only an online shopaholic - I hate actually *going* shopping.
I'm sorry you can't have coffee.
*hug* Hope the pregnancy is going well!
Dan: Stu was not right first time, it's a great look for me.
I'll bring Barney back some other time for you, k?
How did you know I got my DVDs from HMV? :-O Scary!! Did you get the day off? We got tons of snow last night. Horrible to drive in this morning - thankfully it was melting by the time I came home a couple of hours later.
We're not down to -7 yet, or at least I don't think we are...my temperature gauge in my car is on the same panel as my clock & radio and none of them are working very well currently, electrical problem methinks. Sigh!!!

Sassy Monster: No ma'am, the other stuff did not arrive yet.
Fingers crossed not too much longer to wait.
You sure can snuggle under the blankey *lifts blankey up to allow sassy in*

You are going to make me feel guilty that I didn't get over here last night to leave you a comment.
I did know she was from NCIS but I didn't know here name.
Boo for working too much, especially for too little.
Glad you've been able spend some of your money on you.
Enjoy your new coffee machine. The coffee will help you stay warm with those cold temps.
Have a good one.

Hoeech: I was actually hit and miss with Melissa Leo. Sometimes I felt she was a bit *too*...what's the word, angsty? Angry? I know that was the point, but hey, sometimes I was just like...arrrrggghhhhh stop already.
Talented actress though - I've seen her in completely different roles and she pulls them off enough that you don't see her as Det. Howard.
Funkyfresh: I love having parcels waiting too! While I'm trying to fight my way through the door, my brain is shouting "WooHoo...pretty things!!!"
Hope the snow is starting to pass your way...it's snowing again here now, must not have been snowing during the night though because nothing has settled on the roads yet. Hopefully they'll stay clear now. *fingers crossed*
Greta: How could you not RUN to my blog?? I was expecting you to be my first. I'm so disappointed in you. *Cries* Just teasing...you redeem yourself by knowing that Pauley is from NCIS.
I have spent far too much of my money on me...need to tie myself up, sever my internet connection, hide my bank card...etc.
You have a good one too!

I ran to your blog as soon as I came online.
I will admit it was at least particially because I wanted to see if you had noticed the moss comment.
*hugs* I'll let you in on a secret, I spend too much money on me as well. But who is more deserving than us to spend our hard earned money on.

I like your new duds and I think I'm finally getting used to them so I don't wonder who you are when I see your posts. I guess that means it's time for you to change again.
Oh look, it's Homicide. That's one of the best shows ever made. I never get tired of watching it.
I love my coffee pot. I call it that, but it's really an automatic drip coffee maker. I can't live without it. Well, I can, but I don't like living without it.
Congratulations on the weight loss. Woot! Way to go!
Don't we all work too much for not enough pay? I thought that's how things go for the peons. LOL
If they ever fix the line breaks in blog comments, we're all going to have a ton of space between each paragraph. *sigh*

I hear ya about working to much for too little pay...maybe we should go to our bosses about getting a raise.
Ohhhhhhh look at all the books and DVD's...man you have lots too do. I love Patricia Cornwell...maybe you can finally get around to reading them in order.
Coffee pot is awesome, I want one for the store...I would live of it.
Kudos to you on the NBC, it is a good workout with great new recipes, yummy. Congrats on the weight loss...takes real determination.
Although the 'snow cat man' was pretty funny...sorry you guys have snow...frankly you can keep it.
About time for a new blog, enjoy the blanket and coffee...you could always grab a book or flip on NCIS.
