I have some bad news for those of you who enjoy talking to me. I'm leaving gamespot... but it's only temporary. I'm leaving around June and I'll be gone until sometime in August. The reason is because I'll be 17 April 1st and I'm joining the National Guard. I have to start thinking about my future and the benefits from this will really help. I'm sorry guys. I'll most likely be demoted in all unions and forgotten, but I'll return someday.

Thanks guys. It's going to pay for up to 75% of college, not including the financial aid I'll get, I'll be paid $10,000 for the summer that I'm gone, it'll look good for any job I apply for, and I'll be paid almost $300 for every weekend I go after my summer is over.

I will have a 6 year contract. My basic training lasts 3 months during the summer. After that, I go in for meetings 1 weekend a month until my 6 years is up.

The National Guard isn't really national. It's a state military pretty much. If you're interested, look it up. But you'll have to get your head shaved so beware.

I didn't rack it up....much. Yes, I should be back. Should, as in assuming internet is here when I get back. Well...that might not matter. I'll get $1000 to $1200 a month for the summer.

I thought I wanted to be in the marines when I was younger but then decided I wouldn't get to do the career I wanted. You want to get out where you live too eh Same here, Arizona is SOOO boring, I'm headed for New York after high school Where will you be staying? I'm going to Georgia for the summer, then after I graduate high school, I'll have 4 months of advanced training. The only reason I'm doing this is because it pays for college and I get a lot of extra money. Did you know the college I plan to join happens to have a video game design course?
