I'm not even a couples of months in my first year of Journalism, yet now we're starting to work on full-fledged stories, having to interview people about a topic we've picked in class. I picked unemployment, becasue my city has the lowest unemployment rate in Canada. This requires me to find employment records over the recent months, as well as conducting a couple of interviews at the places I'm going, which is City Hall, a concession building right behind my school, and a Youth employment agency. It's exciting, but also overwhelming a little.
Then yesterday I was at the superior court for a smaller assignment. It was a long day, but also very interesting, because the one I followed happened to end up on the front page of my local paper today. So I can say "I was there!!".
But that's how it is now. I can only imagine how crazier it's going to be.
Now as for gaming, I just finished the Butcher Bay remake last night. Never played the original. Overall it was a great experience, aside from a couple inconsistencies the game had (mostly in the beginning). The game stands the test of time, and the new engine has some incredible lighting effects. Now I'm playing through Dark Athena, and just kicked it off right after BB. I'm most likely going to write reviews again and this will be the first if so
