It's funny how it's likely that all my blog posts from now on will not be about TV, but my "real" life. There's TV life and real life for me. TV life consists of me watching stuff, but not really talking about it. Real life is everything else. But I digress...

I recently went to NY and ran into this crazy Italian festival called the Giglio. How is everyone doing? You guys better not be harrassing Danmod. Or Jaxiecracks. I'll get you!

check out this dope video of the Giglio feast, including Rocky theme song!

Hey everyone. Check out this polar bear that lives in a glass case in a small, old town called Port Costa. It's not too far from SF and it's definitely a weird place. There is a spooky hotel there that used to be a whorehouse and it's like 200 years old! I will be going back again soon (uh, not for "work"). Hope you all are doing well, sorry for not posting in forever. I really haven't had anything that interesting to talk about - until I saw this!

Friends,

The time has come for me to take the next step in my career path. I want to let you all know that my last day here on TV, FilmSpot and MP3 as Community Manager will be Friday, 5/18. This decision was not an easy one to make, by any means, but I know it is the best one for me.

That said, words can not exactly convey how awesome of an overall experience this has been for me over the past couple of years: invaluable, challenging, exciting, impossible, successful, entertaining? Definitely all of those things...and more. This has never been "just a job" for me. In many ways, what I have been doing here is part of a way of life - you have no idea. But now what sticks out in my mind most are all of the very unique and cherished friendships that I have made (hopefully you all know who you are). I also want to give a holler to all of the more, um, 'obstinate' users I have encountered who have inadvertently taught me some very worthy lessons and helped me to further develop many important skills. All of this I will throw in my mental duffle bag, carry with me to my next destination, and unpack for use when the time comes. My next occupational home will be at YouTube. I hope you can find the time to visit me there at some point.

I want to give BIG PROPS to Danmod and Jaxiecracks, who will take care of everything you need from here on out and will continue to burn the community torch for these sites. Consider Danmod your main man now on TV. Jaxiecracks will continue to work in a more hybrid community role on TV, MP3 and FilmSpot.

Now it somehow seems right to end this message with some ridiculously cute picture of something. I really just can't help myself, is the thing. Hmmm, what should it be? Obviously, animals are where it's at when it comes to cuteness and have been a running (and overused) theme in my image posting history - which I am admittedly a little embarrassed about, since I am a grown up and all. Anyhow, I'll bet you're thinking that I can't come up with anything else to post now, huh?!

Well, you were right.

Thanks for everything. I will miss you.

13 Going On 30
I am giving this a somewhat generous 3.5. It is entertaining, for what it is, but it's a pretty dumb movie overall - great for watching when you are sick in bed or very tired possibly. The 80s references were pretty cheap and generic so that made...

The Motorcycle Diaries
This movie is not about the time in Che Guevara's life when he was leading the Cuban Revolution. This film shows you the light-hearted, humorous young man he was before he realized his calling in life was to help the people of Latin America to...

This is one of the worst "comedies" ever created. I totally walked out of the theater about 15 minutes into this film. I was only a preteen at the time and I still knew this movie was horrible. I will say, though, the title is genius....

Office Space
Unfortunately, this movie is so true to life regarding boring office jobs (TPS reports are used widely throughout U.S. offices, to my understanding). Many great comedic actors were featured in this film and went on to gain more credits in super...

Friday
I can watch this movie over and over and it's still just as funny.
