XBOX 360 VS. Playstation 3

Which is better? I have played gears and loved it, Halo 3, not really loved it, and Dead Rising, loved it. These exclusive games for the 360 will propbably have sequels like Gears 2 or Halo Wars. But are they really better? The PS3 has Haze, Resistance, Metal Gear Solid 4, and of course, God Of war 3 to be realesed in 2009 or farther on. These games are high money makers but the fight will never end. You see that the xbox costs less and can to more when it comes to online that the ps3. But, then again the ps3 has free online play. Its all about your style, you prefer shooters with tons of friends, you want the XBOX, you want tons af friends but over the internet and not on the same system because you get pissed off at them, the ps3 is your man... or women? I prefer the ps3 and i know that there are gonna coments on how i'm wrong but o well.

You are right. 360 nor ps3 are essentially better than the other. Both systems have ups and downs. If there wasn't any difference then the consumer would have no choice and there would be no system wars. Lets just be happy we got next gen while nintendo lovers play with the wiimote like they would play with themselves lmao

As Contracts mentioned, both of them have ups and downs, though I am planning to get PS3 pretty soon. The thing is that PS3 seems to have more quality exclusive games than 360 (I could be wrong though), and hearing that PS3 uses Blu Ray and a stronger engine, plus 360 had much breakdown issues than PS3, I would say go for PS3

Xbox seems to have the better quality in games, but this year has the ps3 releasing GTA IV and MGS4 so ps3 is catching up a little bit. As a system, the xbox is a much better straight-up gaming console with the better games and live network, but the ps3 is the better all-around system. PS3 has the blu-ray player and xbox can't come close to that. Overall both are great systems, both much better than the wii haha.

Truth be told i can not tell the differnence when it comes to the online on these consoles. So the PS3 is the logical choice because it's free. Both have Good exclusive games so nobody wins there. PS3 has won the format war with blu-ray. And as somebody said the 360 has more breakdown issues. The 360 comes with a headset which the PS3 doesnt (unless warhawk comes with it) but you get a lead which charges your pad which i dont think the 360 has. CBA puttin more points down, i prefer the PS3 but the 360 is a good console

And the WII is a beast .

I personally own a PS3 and would never buy an Xbox.
most of my friends who have Xbox's say how they wish that they had PS3's too, and nearly all of them (one is okay so far but living in fear) have had RROD.
And Maverick?
Bollocks Xbox has better games. PS3 has less games, but they are higher quality than the Xbox games.
gears and Halo are fantastic, see my Halo review for proof, but i dont buy a system for 2 games.
Oh and then there is the blu-ray player too. Kinda saves you 400 quid ish...

I dont even see the point of this, realistically the fight will, for a fact never end, the ps3 has just as many flaws as the 360 and vice versa
