(Prekestolen)
It's a big rock in Lysefjorden, a fjord west in Norway. The Pulpit Rock got its name because of its shape.
From where I live (Stavanger)it's first about an hour drive, and then a walk of an hour and a half up to the rock. In 2006 it was one of the most visited natural tourist attractions in Norway, with approx. 90,000 hikers visiting in the four summer months 
I've been there only once, but I am pretty sure I'll be up there at least once more before I die!

cool. it looks so beautifull around the rock, but the rock is just a rock, say about the rock is that it's a big rock. lol

Those pictures are amazing! Although, I don't think that I would get as close to the edge as some of those tourists. I hyperventilate when I'm at those heights

It is kinda scary, I was near the edge on the side of it but I lay down, very much less scary that way!! And just so there's no confusion, not my pictures

Wow! That is beautiful. I too am not brave enough to get that close to the edge. Difference between America and Norway; if that was America there would be a fence at the edge!
