I feel almost 90% recovered from Memorial day weekend. I went over to a friend's house in St. Pete (Florida) who was having a party. It was kind of mellow but we drained the keg in about 4 hours which baffled me. We made two more beer runs that night and I think we were done by 12 am after a 1:30 pm start. My buddy bbq'ed some of the best ribs I ever had, to bad I could eat only two as I had lost my appetite. You see my friend has two labs who are just great dogs. However my friend made the mistake of throwing everything that landed on the ground or looked burnt into the dirt outside of the patio. The black lab ate everything including the dirt surrounding the food. I looked over at one point and the thing is puking a black tar-looking substance. I walked by to get a plate and then I see the FIRST pile. OMG WTF is that??? It was a huge mound of black puke with food hanging out of it. It turned my stomach and I could hardly eat, it was pretty shot out. I was fine later and continued my buzz but not without thinking back on that pile! BTW Bud Select is not half bad out of a keg for domestic beer. I have not gamed in 6 days because of this and some busy weeknights and that is torture!

Well I have been playing the crap out of GTAIV, yet only started the missions last night. This is a good game that I will review eventually. I honestly logged 5 straight hours last night, I just couldn't stop. All together I have probably put 15 hours or so into it. Garey gave me the heads up that they are going to be making a "Dexter" video game so I looked it up. I guess Mark Ecko Entertainment is going to have their hands in on it. I don't really like this guy because of what he did with Barry Bonds record breaking home run ball. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Barry Bonds one bit, but Mark Ecko disgraced the game of baseball with what he did. Yes I would still get the game, it is Dexter after all! My future bro-in-law set up some old surround sound computer speakers Sunday. My girl received the speakers as a gift and we never used them. They work fine although not ideal. I have been piecing together a fairly decent entertainment center but I have a LONG way to go. I did my All-Star ballot today, all Marlins except for the catcher (NL). Most of these votes I felt deserving, especially Hanley Ramirez and Dan Uggla. I used straight stat comparisons for the American League. Hope everyone is doing well!

I've been meaning to post this rant or opinion about two game purchases I made recently. Both games were the same price yet there was something very different (besides game play). Dark Sector came with an instruction booklet that was two pages (two sides so literally one page). It showed basic controls and one tip about game play. The rest of the book was the same only in two other languages, so the whole book was 4 or 5 total pages. The booklet was in cheap black and white, no frills whatsoever. GTAIV, for the same price, has a full color instruction booklet probably 10 pages or more. It even has funny advertisements for some of the bars, restaurants, and strip clubs you may frequent. It also came with a poster-sized map of the city and on the back it has all of the subway maps. Now this may not seem like a big deal to some, but I think that if they charge $60 they need to put a little more effort into the packaging. I have no problem with the Dark Sector game (sci-fi/horror games are great), but the instruction booklet is totally lacking. It's not like the game is just a simple sci-fi shooter either, there is plenty they could have added. My other games have decent instruction booklets with maps, etc. as well. (IE Assassin's Creed has a very detailed booklet probably 20 pages or more, even FPS games like Turok and RSV have full instruction booklets). Adding that most of these games give a story in the beginning of what is happening in the game, but not Dark Sector, so it leaves you a bit "lost" from the very beginning.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like mhfpunisher.
mhfpunisher must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could mhfpunisher possibly have for not rating a single film?
