Foxx's Gaming Experiences

Well, I got my Xbox Live account back up and running.   Yay on that.  The only thing  wrong is my Xbox is now deciding it doesn't want to work anymore.  I think my laser lens is the problem.  On most of my games, it'll read just fine, but on some of my newer games (like brand new, never been played, out of the case), it'll have trouble reading and just give the "Disc Read Error" which scares me.  Why won't Microsoft recommend laser lens cleaners for their systems?  If a laser lens is to become dirty (and Xbox's do contract a lot of dirt), why shouldn't we have the option to clean the lens?  A lot of things with Microsoft makes no sense.  Who am I to argue?

Anyways, I'll be calling Xbox Tech Support on this matter tomorrow.  I might have to get the damn thing replaced.  God, Microsoft, why do you have to go and do this to people?  Now you won't fully support your system just because Xbox 360 is out?  You haven't worked all the bugs out of that one and you released it too damn early to even turn your back on the first Xbox.  What a stupid company.  Fully support your systems or don't bother to put them out in the first place, eh?

Been a while since I last posted in this, so here goes.

Okay, the lastest I've been playing now-a-days is True Crime: New York City.  I'll post a review on it later.  So far, I'm liking Streets of L.A. better.  Don't get me wrong.  TC: NYC has a lot more to do, but I found the game's glitches and bugs just completly unbarable.  I think Activision should have kept this into production and fine tuned it to make it smooth and flawless.  I don't understand the need to rush a product that hasn't been fine tuned just so they could get it out for the holidays.  That to me is stupid.  I've always believed in Miyamoto's poicy: never release a game unless it's absolutely perfect.  The decision to delay Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess may have been a shock, but I think it was necessary because you never want to release an unfinished game.  With that in mind, as soon as I get deeper into TC: NYC, I shall give a review on it, but I still stick behind my decision that TC: SOLA is the better game.

It's about time. I've been waiting for the next Prince of Persia title to come out for a while. Now, it's ready and I'll be ready to get it when it comes out. I've played the PC demo of it and I"m already impressed off of it (even though I couldn't get passed the ship). The combat system rocks. You can do so many combos and throws and other things that makes you want the full version so much. Either way, I'm sill getting it on December 2.

Hang on, Prince. I'm comin' for ya!
