Just thought I'd share a few of my poems with you all. Some are a bit wacky tho...but.... so am I....beware.. lol!

Morbid Daze

Cries for help
screams of pain
bright red blood
mixed in the rain.
Strangled bodies
twisted minds
bloodied hearts
are entwined.
Morbid angels
fairy dust
heavenly souls
soaked in rust.
Quiet nights
deadly souls
rotting bodies
in graveyard holes.
Morbid cherubs
spooky ghosts
haunted houses
burried boats.
Blacked lungs
mixed up hearts
missing people
and body parts.

hmmmm lol, ok here is another....

The Trapped bee

Let me out, Let me go
buzzing like a little bee
trapped in an upturned glass
can't you set me free?

Why did you catch me
buzzing like a little bee
I wasn't hurting you
can't you set me free?

I was minding my own business
buzzing like a little bee
now my face is turning blue
can't you set me free?

The air is getting thin now
buzzing like a little bee
my wings can hardly fly
can't you set me free?

I cannot move at all now
I cannot buzz like a bee
I think I'll have to say goodbye
unless you set me free.

and one more....

Phasmophobia-

Phasmophobia-

It was supposedly a haunted house

and on the door there hung a mouse.

Across the room and on a bed

there sat the figure of a head,

although the room was dark and dull

it was a humans bloody skull.

The floors were dirty caked in mud,

along the hall was dried up blood.

The walls were solid made of stone

bound together with broken bones

You looked at the walls that resembled hell

They passed out such an awful smell

I was sure you were to loose your life

As above your head you saw a knife

Carved from the knife into the wall

you read the message in the hall

Say your prayers and say goodbye

because tonight you're going to die

This house is haunted yes it's true

You'd have lived if before you knew

It's too late now to save your soul

The headless man has dug a hole

Grab the dagger to it end quick

The thought of ghosts makes you sick

You cannot escape, you cannot cry

The sinful spirit wants you to die.

No one cares so just give in

watch your blood drip into him

you were sorry you came inside

there was no place that you could hide.

It was said to have a haunted moat

and on the bridge was pinned a note

Think twice before you come inside

if I had known I'd be alive.

Wow. Great poems, very descriptive! And definitely great material for children's books (as long as there are nice and gory pictures with them). Keep them coming!

I especially like the chorus approach to The Trapped Bee. I like repeated text in stanza's it draws the point home and can be said with such reflective distinction when spoken.
Children's book...HA HA...they would go over well I'm quite sure.
