I just bought the movie, because I haven't seen it in years. For some reason, gamespot won't let me upload a picture, so check my images if you want to see thecover. This is my definition of a perfect cartoon movie (of course, it is disney; they make good stuff!). Very catchy music, an interesting and fun story, great humor, and everything else that makes it great. They just came out with it on dvd recently, and I had $10 bucks, so I bought it in the blink of an eye. I highly recommend this movie. An extremely goofy movie, the college sequel, is almost as good, and an impressive sequel. GOOFY MOVIE: 10/10. EXTREMELY GOOFY MOVIE: 8.5/10
To follow up on my last blog: Remember how I bought harvest moon at entertainmart? Well, after that, I looked around at the normal stock of every game on the planet. I saw lots of games that I would like, and lots of games that my friend would like for PS2. Too bad he sold his PS2 XD. Anyways, while I was browsing the PS2 section, I noticed that they had Left 4 Dead set up on a tv for people to play openly. Then I noticed the 3-year-old kid playing it. I was a little suprised at first (and not just because he kept shooting the ground over and over), but then I saw his dad watching him play it, and not having any objections towards it. Some of the kid's friends were around, not to mention his dad'solder friends watchingtoo. By that point, I was pretty much like "are you @#$%-ing kidding me?" I'm sorry, but you'd think that a 3-year-old kid playing an M-rated zombie shooter would raise some red flags. It seems that game companies and other stores don't care so much about ratings anymore. All they care about is making a quick buck. Call me crazy, but it's this kind of stuff that desensitizes kids to bloody violence by the time they're, oh I don't know, maybe 10? I don't care how cool a game may be, you don't need to expose little kids to it! Heck, I know that when I have kids, I'll have tons of E, T, and M games, but I'm going to follow those ratings. I'll let them play T games when they turn 13, and M games when they turn 16-17. What's your take on ratings?
Okay, so I was in entertainmart (the greatest used game, dvd, and music store on the planet. they have EVERYTHING) and I saw that they had a sale on with PS1 games for $2 and PS2 games for $3 (from a selected few). I looked around and had to choose between some cool looking car crashing game (ps1), atv offroad fury (ps2), and harvest moon: a wonderful life (gamecube. they had gamecube games for $3 too.). I picked harvest moon, and at first I didn't really like it. Today, after playing it for awhile, I'm starting to enjoy it, and it gets better as you go. Have any of you guys played harvest moon before?
