With the release of the $100 cheaper slim PS3 in a couple of weeks, I will definitely get one at long last. I'm glad I had the will power to wait for this price cut/redesign. I still need to get an HDTV, but let's go one step at a time.

It is still pretty pricey over here, although I might see if I can pick up a classic one on the cheap when the new one comes out.

And like you I need a new TV. I have HDTV but not as new as would be beneficial.

I'm still not sold yet. Isnt it the price of the PS2 when it first came out? I'd love to have one, but there are too many obligations.

I wish my notebook had that matte finish... Damn fingerprints all over the place. Curse you Dell and your shiny things!!! Why do I always fall for that.

Anyway. I'm still not sold. Mainly because I'm addicted to cheevos, though. Sad, really.
At least I've got the TV already.

Well Im glad its finally here but only game that really interests me is LittleBigPlanet. I dont wana buy a another system just for one game. And I still play my PS2. Couple of games Id like to pick up for it.

Go with the previous model, it looks better. Plus, you can install the Linux OS on it too. HDTV's are pretty affordable now, some electronics shops are doing bundles with the PS3 and HDTV too, go with that option.
