Well a lot has happened since 2005 when I last posted a blog. I have put my focus on a career which led to a massive WoW addiction with some coworkers which I am happy to say I'm WoW sober for over two years now.

Sadly, what followed was a refocusing of my priorities to getting back into my lean, six minute mile, physique. As a result I have played little to no games since late 2007. Yes I bought a Wii, but it sits and collects dust. Not because I don't enjoy the games, but because I now have a great career, a budding family (my first child was born 4 weeks ago) and a wonderful wife.

Thankfully, I now have a solid grip on my life. I'm very successful and that itch to play epic games and kill time in strategic multiplayer cannot be ignored!

So I'm back! I want to play and very interested to see what's happened in the gaming world these past two years.

Now where is my copy of FFXII and Zelda Wii I never finished...

I've beaten two games in the past week - Golden Sun 2 and Shadow of the Colossus. Both were good, but SotC is better. I loved Golden Sun 1, but was a little disappointed with 2.It seemed that the developers made an extra effort to lengthen the game and explain the previous game with mountains of dialogue. It was good, but not as good as Golden Sun 1.

Shadow of the Colossus is just phenominal. Some of the best music I've ever heard in a videogame. And the gameplay is so refreshing with it's out-of-the-ordinary approach to adventure gaming. The epic feelis worthy ofthe buy and let's hopemany do so more can be made like it.

Yesterday I went to my local gamestop to pick up some used games because I had a coupon that let me get the third used game free. I planned to get Star Ocean: till the end of time, Xenosaga II and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga for the GBA. I called beforehand so the games were being held for me.

Before I went to the counter to purchase said items, I decided to look around. I went to the PSX section and I hit the jackpot! What I found were Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story (unopened!), and Final Fantasy Anthology. I owned Chrono Cross before, but I lost it after moving. The clerks said some guy came in with a pile of PSX games to trade in and had kept the games in great shape. I couldn't help it, I ended up buying seven games. After a discount and two coupons I paid $98!

I recently finished college so I finally have the means to broaden my game collection. I got really lucky to get rare games in great condition so cheap and was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.

mawalkusky must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could mawalkusky possibly have for not rating a single film?
