I've been sick the past few days and well that lent itself to playing slightly more games than usual on accounts of not having to be at work.
I put in a good few hours into MLB:The Show which I am really enjoying, although I do pretty much suck at it. Actually I am not bad at pitching but useless when it comes to batting. I've almost got a hitter and a pitcher ready for promotion n to the MLB, that's when I see the real game starting, at least on the Road to the Show Side of things.
I also managed to complete Ghostbusters, which is a really fun game, it's pretty linear so I may do some further trophy hunting at a later stage but replaying any of it this soon will seem like a bit of a chore rather than enjoyable. Multiplayer is fun enough but I need to play a bit more before I make a final decision on this aspect of the game.
I'll endeavour to post a review in the next few days.
I also pulled out the PS2 from storage and popped in Rouge Galaxy, which I have never played until now, so far I am only an hour in, which is hardly enough to really get into the game but I am loving the combat system immensely and the story, is hard to gauge its at this stage but is at least competent.
I also put in a good couple of hours in to FFVII and its fun the story so far is engaging but I find it is showing its age in a few respects, mostly in respect to the lack of tutorials that you can go back to, especially in regard to the materia system, I just don't fully comprehend it from the meagre information you are given in the game (or maybe I just haven't progressed far enough) or maybe I think it is more complex than it actually is, which is very likely. I also find the lack of some kind of quest journal to be a little disconcerting although I am not far enough through it to really form a full judgement on this. It's still a great game and I am taking nothing away from it at all just a few irks that may or may not be unfounded.
In other news I've ordered Cross Edge, BlazBlue, Nights in the Nightmare and SMT: Devil Survivor, so I'm set for RPG's and fighting games for now. Especially now I have purchased a fight stick. I have got to go back to SFIV now, which is by no means a bad thing.
Although I am still disappointed about the lack of RPG's on the PS3, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. Rouge Galaxy has reminded me how much I love RPG's as a whole so a lack this generation is leaving me feeling a bit empty.
Well that's been a bit of an update from me, now excuse me while I try and get over my coughing fits.

I'm interested in Ghostbusters but I don't have a PS3 and it's not coming to 360 is it? Damn.
Used to love FFVII but I prefer VIII.
