Well the lowlife US President, George W. Bush said his goodbyes He was always manipulative, delusional, and disgusting till the end (like his father). George W. tried to lay on his spiel to the American public one more time.

It's hilarious to see him doing it despite the fact that he knows and everyone else knows that his presidency has been nothing but a failure, a joke, garbage, a mockery. Yep.

Then again this is what people who voted for Bush asked for back in 2000 and 2004 a deceitful, lying president hiding himself in the flag to cover up his crimes and to still have the audacity to proclaim his presidency a success.

That's why I actually was going to decided to write this up.

Since Bush and his fellow lowlifes want to persist in patting themselves on the back and rewriting their pathetic legacy, then people should keep on writing and criticizing them. Especially if this really is America and people are allowed to speak out.

The farewell speech was the same right wing propaganda he's used for the eight years. This propaganda is a bigger insult now than back then in light of all the failures Bush has been involved in or failure to deal with: Katrina, 9/11 attacks (ironically this is what Bush used time and time to support and excuse his illegal actions), the economy, poor and outlandish spending, starting an illegal war with Iraq and the list goes on.

As someone said "the irony is immeasurable." Let's take a look at the lies that the nutjob and his fellow nutjobs spill out trying to rewrite history:

"When people live in freedom they do not willingly choose leaders who pursues campaigns of terror"

Yet they chose you , George W. Bush., two times who used fear tactics to gain the gullibility of many Americans of another terrorist attacks to get elected. Besides that there's the obvious place of Guantanamo Bay using terrorist torture tactis all the while Loser Bush and Loser Vice President Dick Cheney denied that torture was ever used and still want to place the US as the oversears of human rights and democracy.

"Around the world America is promoting human rights, dignity"

LMAO When you listen to these lines you can't help but die of laughter. The Gaza strip is a living example of human rights violations by Isreal which has been ignored by the US for years and years. Besides that any idiot whose done any real research on America's human rights records will find that America gets an F for promoting human rights with violations in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Chile and other places. This are the results of several death squads and several dictators put in place WITH US SUPPORT and aid. Last but not least who could not forget what happened at Abu Ghraib. Don't anyone insult my intelligence by telling me these are isolated incidents.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A32776-2004Jun10.html

Promoting human rights my dog's behind.

"Students are rising to meet higher standards in public schools."

Another LMAO moments. I would give credit to Bush if he actually could pass a lie as being even remotely believable but most of what I heard was such an over the top crock that it still was mind boggling to hear this madman still say this stuff.

As someone whose worked in public schools for over five years this is such a crock it ain't funny. Of course there are many reasons why students fail to meet higher standards but Bush's delusional stance that students are rising to meet higher standards is one again his attempt to cover up a failure. Not too mention the obvious fact that public schools have always been one of the most mismanaged, underfunded sectors of the economy especially now. Hell even my university has failed to provide any adequate finacial aid for their students so you can just imagine how much worse it would be in a public school.

"We took decisive measures to safeguard our economy" LMAO.

Yes one of the bleakest times in American history that have been compared to the depression and oh yeah Bush originally said that we weren't in a recession and he still declares adequate measures were taken. This is as funny as MCCain's declaration that the fundamentals of the economy are strong....

"I've always acted with the best interests of our country in mind"

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

I sincerely hope he's the worst president of my lifetime (I'm 22), I really don't want to see what could be worse.

George Bush was not a strong President, nor a good leader, but his regime has been unfairly criticized. If it were not for our vicious handling of Afghanistan and Iraq more events like September 11th would take place. Fact. You're going to counter-argue saying then why did the gas prices go up? Check out the pumps recently as they are pretty close to what they were during the Clinton era. Bush was not great, not at all, but he was also a victim of circumstances and handled himself surprisingly well for the cards he was dealt. Look for the economy to collapse even more under Barack.

So you're saying the way we handled Iraq and other areas is why there haven't been more attacks?

I don't know about that. To me that's just speculation. Show me evidence that we're ready. I don't think we're ready for any attacks. Our focus and excess spending on others parts of the world instead of back home is why I don't think we would be ready for anything.

I'll give you that Bush was a victim 9/11 in that it's something nobody could be adequately prepared to face but then again the true measure of a leader is how he responds to a crisis. Bush hasn't responded well to more than one crisis. Bush might have had honest intentions but after the intelligence and the decision to invade Iraq was proven not to be the best course of action he should have decided to change his plan.

Yes, I'd like to see a link or something stating/verifying this FACT thefanof. A regular link, to a site that isn't biased, good luck with that. IMO the reason we haven't had any 9/11 type events since 9/11 is because the goals were achieved by the parties involved then, so why risk making Bush look even worse than he does by attacking again on his watch. Think about it, if terrorists were out to cause mayhem, then why aren't they? Why haven't they been for the past 7 years? Bush and co. aren't gods, they can't see all, so why hasn't even 1 small bomb blown anything up lately? To me, the answer is obvious. Over the years I've realised that the president is nothing, he's nobody but a front man for the machine there to take the heat, but will never be held accountable for anything. Obama is no different, say pretty things that everyone wants to hear, you watch, in 4 years everything will be exactly the same for everyone except the wealthy will simply have more of the countries money and resources by then while we're still sitting around arguing over which of the 2 parties is better like it's a friggin football game and you want your team to win cause that's who you picked without knowing 99% of the things about all of these MILLIONAIRES with their own secret agendas running for president. Or, maybe you're pissed at the black guy that has your job now, it's all the same thing. Whether you want to believe it or not there are methods to maintaining power, and our 'rulers' use them all. Look up and read Machiavelli's works, they all have. We were screwed at birth, face it. There are much bigger issues at hand I think than which jerkoff we're going to elect every 4 years to tell us our lives suck, but they're going to make it all better if you just trust them, yeah ok.

Thank you Mythic for the comment. You know I am gonna that Bush and invasion of Iraq probably made things safer in an Iraq in that it they Saddam was gone but introduced a new series of problems. However, with that said, it still carried a big cost and an occupation does not translate in safety here.

I think the reason we probably didn't have another 9/11 attack is that we have stepped up security that's not a result of anything this administration but our awareness that we do have to step things up. Just like other countries have had to level up their security post 9/11.

Or, I could be wrong lol. You could definitely be right about the stepped up security, but who knows if we're looking for someone that isn't even there to begin with. All I know is, if there isn't a flying car in my garage in the next 4 years I'm going to be pretty upset .

edit: Here's a pretty good vid for bush's send off, one I like anyway, anyone seen it? Just out of curiosity, did you know that Bush SR gave his new world order speech on a 9/11?

You're right too, Obama like Bush will have his own agenda, but President does have power to think for himself and do things that his party would not approve of. However, yeah what a person says to get elected is not exactly what he'll do. Obama talked about change a lot but he shrugged off any questions that he'll go after Bush for his crimes. Yet people feel that things would be worse under McCain/Palin myself included. Will disagree a little about things being the same from President to President The time under Clinton was not as bad with Bush. Our deficit went up significantly higher with Bush as did unemployment. However, yeah the rich always seem to benefit, someone always benefits especially times like now. The Iraqi War was very profitable to those were all for it but we're not getting anything from it.

That is one long video there, it'll take me a while to get through it.

At least you're willing to watch it, most people wouldn't even bother, lots of curious info in there. Believe me, I have longer ones, and many many of them . My feeling is, I'd rather question motives and actions and be wrong than subservient and be wrong. I agree with you about things being better with clinton, and it'll almost absolutely be better with obama, if I was forced to choose (like we pretty much are) dems will always be the lesser of two evils as far as I'm concerned, it's just the back and forth that bothers me. It's like a tug of war rope that never goes either way for very long, but it slowly keeps creeping to the wrong team's side, and 9/11 gave them a big jerk. The Man Comes Around is playing as I type this, even though I'm not even slightly religious you gotta love Johnny Cash. I've been posting mostly at imdb lately, much more relaxed there and not as nazish as it is here, W is coming out on video and I expect to see a review from you there , I'll be watching it myself in a day or two. -----PS edit: It was nothing like I thought it would be (W. that is), I gave it a 5/10.
