This movie could have been so good. The Shadow is a character that has a long and rich history that is well known to many people. Unfortunately, this movie eschews the basics that the Shadow was known for in favor of a hackneyed plot that was silly and makes the character look almost cartoonish at times. Maybe someday, Hollywood will revisit the character and do it right...only the Shadow knows.....
