I miss my laptop.  I tried using my win tv usb tuner and burned out the mother board so had to take it in.  On a good note, it made me finally install the wireless card into the desktop.  Atleast one box off my crowded dresser. I can't remember the last time I used my desktop.  It must be 8 months at the least. 
Well, since its the big shopping weekend, I was daring and went out.  I went to circuit city since it was close by on friday.  I asked and showed a flier if they would price match, the girl said yes but not on black friday.  So today i went and they would not do it.  They have a huge sign that says they would match by 110% any advertisement, yet they would not my current add from best buy.  They then got rude, so I got rude back.  Couldn't help myself I was there over an hour in line while they said they needed a manager atfirst and then had to call best buy.  Guess I'll never go there again.  Should have known better, I've heard a lot of people complaining about them and especially thier warranties.  No matter, I buy a lot online, so I'll still get my deal, just have to wait a week, whooppedoo. 
Today was just one of those days.  Took two dogs to the walkin vet. Sammy, while at the dog park, was attacked and badly bitten.  With her supper thick malamute type coat, I did not notice it right away.  But last night the wound was oozing so I knew she had to go in.  Took Nala cause she has a tumor the size of a pear on her hind knee and one a silver dollar size on her belly.  Sam just needs meds, but nala, they shoved a needle into both and tested them.  They're weird, so they have to be removed.  So, since she'll be out we will have her teeth done too,  My poor old lady dog.  SHe's twelve so I'm worring over her operation already and its in two weeks. 

My famil'ys tradition for sunday is to go on the other side of town and have chinese food.  In Solon, the place called Imperial Wok has the best food.  We all go there so often the people know us and what we like to get.  Neeedless to say they treat us well and we tip them well. But we have been slipping. Between health reasons and people moving or having babies, the family has not been going to much.  It was great.  I had such a craving for thier food.   Plus, its always great seeing family, that is out in public where everyone behaves themselves. But my maternal side is great.  We all get along and share out crude sense of humor.

Before dinner, I did such a dorky thing.  I took two of my dogs, just the scotties, and went for pictures with santa.  The money goes to rescue groups and in return we get a cd with all the shots and a 8x10. ITs a good thing the pics turned out, cause the dogs won't make it to next year.  They were so bad. The morans were the smallest ones there and tried to attack all the other dogs and never shut up.  Then the silly puppy, who is like 15 pounds tried to jump up on the table. Her short little legs missed and she landed hard on the floor. It was so embarrassing. All the other dogs there were so good, then my yahoos show up and act like idiots. They even tried to take on the two rotts, who just totally ignored them. I can't really blame them, its my fault.  THe pup I've tried to train, but never really in public.  As for Macleod, he was trained, but after a boxer slapped him while trying to play, he was tramatrize the poor wimp.  At least they are good with people.

This will be Arwen, the puppy, first christmas.  SO when i get the santa cd, in about a week, I think I'm doing christmas cards.  I normally don't send any, or wait till the week of christmas, but she is just too cute.  i have to at least show her off.

Babysitting. It has been so long since I have watched a new born. The past couple of times, my mom was here so I could dump the kid on her for diaper changing and what not.  BUt now its just me.  Its a good thing I like kids.  I had forgotten how everything goes.  Amazingly, most of it is coming back. On the good side, I still have the special touch of getting them to sleep and remember why I'm waiting to have one.  Thank goodness.  And my cousin said the kid never sleeps. Auntie Rissa is remembering what to do.  To bad its been 10 yrs since dealing with babies.  Here's to a goodnight with the 2 month old.
