In New York city you may get a $100 fine if you are caught using an electronic device while crossing the road. This won't help since you can't prevent stupidity and absentmindedness.
It is only common sense to take out you headphones when crossing the street. Or at least look both ways. But basically lawmakers in NYC think if you can't hear you shouldn't be walking across the street. But I have a newsflash for NYC! Deaf people do it everyday. The difference is that the people who get hit aren't paying attention. There is agood chance they may walk into ocoming traffic even if they weren't using an electronic device.
So instead of increasing awareness, lawmakers head straight to the consumers pockets. They will never neglect an opportunity to pick the bones of any issue to get as much profit as they can. This is the epitome of greed.

I didn't even have to wait in line. It was about 1 pm, I was in Walmart grocery shopping on a sunday when I saw one in the display case. I ignored everything and ran to buy it on the spot. I broke off all plans and sat down to play resistance: fall of man. I have never experienced videogames the way I did when I first played this game. The graphics are amazing. Also at 1080i, everything looked crisp and clear. It was amazing. I am looking forward to seeing the true capability of this system.

So much for getting a PS3 on launch Day

Just yesterday I was imagining myself going to my local electronics store and picking up my pre-ordered PS3. I have my HDMI cable ready. I bought a new LCD HDTV. I even have the day off of work on the 17th. But now I may not even see my new console until after the holiday season.
This realization came after calling my local store to see whether I was going to have to wait until the second shipment to receive my PS3. I however was sorely informed that even though I had spent the money to do a pre-order, the company was unable to secure any PS3's at all at launch, and would not have any for an unknown period of time. Basically he was telling me, we sold you a PS3 that we do not have.
On a positive note I was able to get in touch with someone from their corporate office and he told me I could get my money back. Or I could wait until they get some PS3's and they would sell them to me. Basically I am screwed. I guess the moral of the story is you can't trust every place that lets you pre-order.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like makaid.
makaid must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could makaid possibly have for not rating a single film?
