I have only seen my friend play at a show, but there were a few other bands there as well. I'm hoping to snag some tickets to see Animal Collective in May.

minus the bear kicked ass. And my friend is seeing animal collective haha i casnty even imagine what an animal collective concert would be like. It'd be like acid. everywhere. I imagine some sweet fan made dances though.

Excuse this being so late (as are most of my comments on blogs).

My first concert was the Peppers back in 7th grade, but none of my friends went. Still a good show, though.
Then in May me and all my friends went to see The Killers, which was awesome at the time. But I didn't get any kind of drawing or anything. Actually, nobody even said anything about it after one year, and then like last month a get a text during school that read: 'killers - two yrs ago'. And that was all. I've got some pretty creative and thoughtful friends, eh?
