It has been a rough week in some ways and a good week in others. I taught on the Melchizedek priesthood last Friday. It baffles my mind how RC's defend their priesthood in light of the teaching in Hebrews on Christ's intercessory work. It is just staggering. This week in the CWU,

1. The Presumptuousness of Atheism - I'll quote from the author to describe the article, What the atheist fails to see is that atheism is just as much a claim to know something ("God does not exist") as theism ("God exists"). Therefore, the atheist's denial of God's existence needs just as much substantiation as does the theist's claim; the atheist must give plausible reasons for rejecting God's existence. Atheist Dan Barker (FFRF) understands this.

2. Is Darwinism Atheistic - The synopsis of the article says,A careful study of Darwin's writings, especially his posthumously published private notebooks and personal communication, reveals that Darwin was indeed an atheist and his theory of natural selection was formulated to replace a Creator with naturalistic processes. Read the article to find out more. This has been my contention all along.

3. The Prayer Warrior - Explains what true prayer is through the example of Epaphras.

And in the BBU we hve,

1. Planned Parenthood's Abortion Quotas Exposed - I've seen this time and time again and it is just horrible. Check out the article.

2. The Darwinizing of Religion Continues - This is beyond absurd but it is a perfect example of what happens when one stupidly thinks naturalism can explain everything.

3. The Cost of Not Following Christ - This is an excellent sermon by Paul Washer. It is about an hour long.

I hope you check out everything in these 2 excellent unions. We have a wealth of info about the christian faith, debunking the sci-fi that is evolution, politcs...ect.

I figured I'd post some highlights from the BBU and CWU. Check them out and the unions. Some of the threads from the CWU are,

1. A Logical Argument Against Abortion - There is no amount of rhetoric that can change the FACT that it is a baby in the womb.

2. The Absurdity of Atheism - Atheism is a truly frightening philosophy that has no basis for ethics other than what a particular person believes. In other words, the atheist with the bigger gun makes the morality. So if a Stalin comes along and, for the good of the country, murders millions of people it is ok. They are nothing but atoms banging around.

3. No Evolution in 58 Million Years - Debunking the fantasy that is evolution yet again.

Now for some highlights from the BBU,

1. What does it mean to live in habitual sin? - I was deceived about this for a very long time. Every one should read this thread who professes Christ as Savior. Watch the video BR posted.

2. Climate Change Versus THE REAL Problem - Crunk posted this thread and it deals with a biblical view of climate change.

I hope you check out these threads and the 2 unions as well. The links are at the top. We are here to educate about the christian faith, debunk the sci-fi that is evolution, and give glory to God.

Idecided to come back since BR nominated me as leader of the CWU. BR is very persuasive. I'm still pissed though....

I've been leading some friends through the TULIP. After spending last Tuesday evening on John 6 we are now getting into total depravity. The Lord has really blessed them. All sorts of things in the Word are opening up to them.

I saw Sola Scriptura in Hebrews 3 this week. Here is the passage which is a perfect exmaple of Sola Scriptura,

7Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

I fear for those who hide behind things that will do them no good on judgment day. Woe to those people.
