can swim? If I could point the main flaw with Mario's rival mascots, it's that none of them are calpable of swimming underwater. Sonic is too obvious, Crash just died when he landed on water, and Master Cheif with that ton of armor lol. So yeah, why is that Mario is the only mascot that can swim?

What about Spyro, he can swim in the 2nd and 3rd games in the series. I used him since you used Crash, and what about Ratchet, he can swim.

To mitu123: Heh, I only counted Crash since he came first. 
To grapefruit: I wouldn't count Snake since he started on the NES in America.
