Hi guys!

It's me again, I missed you! And special thanks to Daria, Ivy and Tish for kicking my butt into blogging again.

Life has been pretty busy and coming back tonight is just spontaneous. I was lurking quite a bit during my hiatus and somehow I like lurking. Pretty relaxing... Jumping back in is more fun, though, and I'll try to comment more from now on. Right now, I won't be back 100% but close. I have a paper due by the end of the week and I will be working three days a week in another city for the coming month. Anyway, don't be cross with me when I am not back as I used to be. I'll give my best and I hope everything will be more relaxed in October.

TV setWhat I've Been Watching

True Blood

Breathtaking. I love this season so much, more than ever. I seriously can't wait for the finale and apart from Bill being all wooden, I have no complaints.

Battlestar Galactica

I gave this show a try without watching the miniseries first. Big mistake. I corrected that and what do you know? I love this show. There were some less than perfect episodes but it is really well done and I love the view on religion and politics. Also, this show spiked my newest tv-crush and major obsession: Callum Keith Rennie... He plays Leoben on the show and let me tell you, it sucks to have him as a favorite character because he has way too little screentime. More on him later

Due South (1997)

This is a dramedy that I wanted to check out forever because Bea truly loves it. It's a crime show about this Mountie from Canada, who is just too good for this world. His sidekick Ray is played by Callum Keith Rennie. Can you guess what finally pushed me over the edge to watch it? It's a nice, fun show and of course, my new imaginary boyfriend helps with the enjoyment.

Spooks (UK)

A show about the British secret service that represents all I love about British dramas. You can never feel safe with your characters and the plot is just ruthlessly awesome. It's an exciting show and I got a little hooked here.

More on Callum Keith Rennie

I apologize in advance in case you don't care for him but I have to dedicate a huge part of my blog to him. I can't even remember falling that hard for any celebrity in a very long time. It started slow, at first I just liked him but now I am totally whipped. In my opinion he is gorgeous and a wonderful actor. Not only can he give the perfect villain, he is also not afraid to show himself in a bad light. For me, he is the ultimate scene stealer.

Personal Stuff

He describes himself as rather shy off camera and thinks that some directors find him difficult to work with. He is 48, born in Scottland and living in Canada since the age of 6. He got into acting pretty late in his life. In his 20ies he was mainly drunk but he is sober since his early 30ies and serious about acting ever since. He stopped drinking after a bar fight in which he hurt his retina pretty badly. His eye has healed by now. He has been on several Canadian movies and got some Genie/Leo awards. There were also many many guest spots in tv-movies, shows, and movies that were more and less interesting. He used to have some trouble finding work and stated that he had a year with only 26 days on set. He also loves golf and emphasizes that it is not a rich man's game in Scottland.

Some Notable Roles

His first major success was in the Movie Hard Core Logo (1996), a mockumentary about a punk band in their mid life crises. I'd recommend that film, readers of Playback voted it the 4th best Canadian movie ever made.

icon3

After that, he gave the sidekick on Due South. Here is a little glimpse.

He has been in quite a few movies and shows after that. In some of these roles he was rather wasted, so I'll stick with shows that you guys might know. Remember him from Supernatural 1x02 Wendigo? The guide constantly bickering with Dean?

icon3

I left that picture out at first since I don't watch Smallville but some of you might remember him as the one that controls glass in the season 5 episode Fragile.

And of course the recurring role of Leoben on Battlestar Galactica

The infamous and gorgeous Lew Ashby in the second season of Californication

icon3

And John Wakefield on Harper's Island (creepy!!!)

By the way, my icon is vampire CKR from the movie Blade: Trinity. He was severely underused in that movie, as he was in many other roles. Even the director said so and hired him later for a slightly bigger role in The Invisible.

My About Me is a clip from Normal, a Canadian movie from 2007. His performance of a broken man is impressing.

I only covered a tiny bit of his roles. He was also in famous movies like Memento and eXistenZ and had major roles in Suspicious River, Double Happiness, Last Night, and Wilby Wonderful.

Other tv credits include The L-Word, Bionic Woman, The Dead Zone, Tru Calling, La Femme Nikita, Kingdom Hospital, Bliss, and many more. Not mentioning numerous tv movies that I will probably never get a chance to see.

Photoshop and Me

I was pretty obsessed lately. Apologies for being so single-minded... All Leoben, all Battlestar Galactica...

Hope to see you soon peepsies. Have an awesome week!!

I have been familiar with him for quite some time. Probably because I am from Canada as well as the fact that I watch a lot of sci-fi, since Vancouver is sci-fi TV central and they like to use local actors. He does have memorable roles, but I dont think he's that attractive. I tried out BSG a long time ago, again because of the sci-fi thing, but I didnt care for it. Its too dark and screwy for me. All the characters made me angry and frustrated. I kinda hated them all. Oh well. Glad you enjoyed it.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:40 pm PT
Are my eyes playing tricks on me?!?! Is this really true???
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:41 pm PT
Can boys squeeeee too? 'Cause I'm about to. I'm just not sure how. Welcome back! (I haven't read the blog yet, so I'm just assuming you're back)
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:41 pm PT
Daria Yay you! Welcome. And first. Not surprising.

Rebecca Thanks for stopping by. I get that it's too dark for you. I had quite a few attempts to get into it and I failed. If it hadn't been for me friend, I probably wouldn't have bothered any longer and it took me a while to love the characters too. But then again, I love dark and screwy. Cool, I didn't know that Vancouver is sci-fi central but now that you mention it, it makes sense. And right, many movies that I have seen have the same cast, it's quite funny actually. And well, I also get that you don't find him attractive - more for me, then.

Mack Hey buddy! Kind of, ya, I'll try to be good. Urban dictionary says squee is the fangirl-noise but there will be no gender restrictions in my blog. So squee away. Thanks for the warm welcome!!
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:48 pm PT
Peepsie! SOOOOOO GLAD to see you pop in *joins Daria in the squeeing* CKR definately has a rugged handsomeness baout him. But, hmmmm, I don't think he'll overtake Eric/Alexander Skarsgard at the moment. He was so evil and creepy in Harper's Island. I've been meaning to catch Battlestar Galatica, I'm just having a hard time finding a quality download of it. I can't wait til the season finale of True Bllod. I haven't seen last weeks ep so I think I'm just going to watch the final two together.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:49 pm PT
You shouldn't thank me for kicking you in the but You will be working in another city three days a week for a month? Awww. I don't know what to say. I'm fairly sure I don't like this idea so far... But tell me the job will be awesome and I'll be happy for you I have a complaint about TB: The last two episodes were weird/slow. The last was slow and the one before that was too weird and it takes a lot for me to think a show is too weird (remember how I love Nip/Tuck?). Laoben will probably be my favorite character too I guess it'll suck for me too I love that you hid behind the Bea thing as the reaso to watch Due South. I'm 100% sure you would have watched it for CKR alone If they don't care about him they can be not reading this blog... you are always allowed to blog about whatever you want Why do directors think he's difficult to work with?? I see nothing but awesomeness in his acting... but I think I'm biased Young, shirtless CKR *is staring* I have to try and look away t read the blog but I'm not even looking away as I'm typing this... sorry if there are like a lot of spelling mistakes. I really would have no idea. *pulls herself away* Well I'll be watching him in pretty much anything but a little slowly cause fall season is starting up and I'm not even in the mood to watch anything. besides my first priority is SFU, cause I will borrow my sister's DVDs. NOW I REMEMBER HIM!!! On Supernatural... it's SO weird that I don't recognise him... I usually am the master of pulling guest roles together but I really never thought about this one. I think I'll watch Harper's Island before BSG... it's shorter and looks better I'm also very excited about the 3 movies you mentioned and the one that's very creepy that I forgot the name of icons are very hot. I especially love the first one on the second row
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:51 pm PT
LMAO at Macky squeing
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:52 pm PT
I think you chose the perfect time to blog about CKR... people are too excited about you being back to complain.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:53 pm PT
I haven't been first that much lately. I've lost my touch
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:55 pm PT
I was actually watching Grey's while you posted this... but I guess I just made it in time for the firstness!
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:55 pm PT
who are you again? nice to meet you! just kidding! it's great you're back! i absolutely love callum keith rennie (even though i'm even more of a fan of paul gross when it comes to "due south" ). i've started to watch "battlestar galactica" as well and i'm really happy he's in it, i hadn't known that before. i'm glad you like "due south" and i really hope you're going to give seasons 1 and 2 a try as well. while seasons 3 and 4 are great, the first two are even better ...
Posted Sep 7, 2009 1:59 pm PT
Emiko! Awww, thanks so much!! Wow, you do have a very hot new icon that makes kind of a point when it comes to Eric. I loved your previous one also but this one certainly does the trick. I am so jealous, two epis of TB is a great idea!! Me, I can't wait for the finale, I really hoped it would air today. And yay SN-club, I so want in!!!! Battlestar Galatica is quite a project but I am glad that I finally got around to do it. Rugged handsomeness is for sure a perfect way to put it. It wasn't love at first sight for me either, not by a long shot, I was well aware of him before. But now I am lost, and not able to rationally explain it any further... Speak soon! xx

Daria! The job will be fine, I am looking forward to it. A little stressful but fun. I prefer to be at home but I don't mind that much. Bad thing: I have to wait almost four days before I can see True Blood! And I can't be spoiled, OMG, that will be hard!! Well, weird... The plaing God thingy with the horns? I loved that. What do you mean exactly? LMAO, hiding behind Bea... I would have checked it out as well but not that soon. Yes Daria, focus on young CKR, less creepy. Watch Hard Core Logo - Perfect! I know, much to do tv wise, I wouldn't either if it weren't for this pesky obsession. SFU is a great proirity, i am curious what you'll think of the rest. Cool that you remember him now. That SN role was quite cool. Let me know what you think of HI too. Very creepy is Suspicious River, I almost put a picture of that one up too. I held back a little, don't want to seem to creepy. Thanks for the icon praise, that means a lot coming from you.

You mean they would complain otherwise... lol... Maybe you are right. And you lost your firstness mojo? See you got it back!! You rewatch Grey's? Who would have thought?

Bea! Since you made such a strong point about it, I watched the pilot. It's strange, I prefer that early Paul Gross probably. And I am not in love with the early sidekick so that's a minus. But I will get around to it, I am sure. Glad you like BSG. Since you already watched a couple of episodes of season 1, I guess you won't stop. Seen Flesh and Bone yet? Many great storylines coming up. Thanks for saying hello!
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:04 pm PT
now it's time to answer my comment *happy dance* I'm actually sitting here waiting for you to answer my comment. I'm so weird... and this isn't the first time I've done this either lol.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:11 pm PT
*stares at the gif some more* I have no idea what you meant by young CKR being less hot. He looks just as hot to me
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:14 pm PT
Not that he was really young in 97... see what you got me saying now??
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:14 pm PT
We did! I did! I'm glad to see you blog. When I saw your name pop up on "my feed", I thought it was a TV.com glitch. I didn't even know you were coming back. But you did leave a hint in one of the PMs. Lurking is relaxing, to a point. Then the temptation's just too great to resist blogging again. Thanks to Ivy, Daria, and Tish! Apart from two or three episodes (esp. one with Evan Rachel Wood, which seemed like Alan Ball did some playful experimentation), True Blood's been fab! Agree to the nth degree with Bill. You ended up loving BSG more than I did. CKR probably had a lot to do with it. And I'm happy for you that you found a new 'obsession'/imaginary boyfriend. When I first saw him, he reminded me of Hugh Laurie a great deal. Dunno why. Paul Gross is the Mountie in Due South, right? I haven't revised his bio yet. He'll star in Eastwick. Poor Spooks, overshadowed by BSG. Did you finish S7? Glad you enjoyed it!

I'll just enjoy the read on CKR. I think I already gave my impression of him -- that I liked him in every role I've seen him in. I didn't even know he was in Blade: Trinity (the one with Ryan Reynolds, right?) I love the new icons esp. the one with the child (forgot name) and Starbuck. Oh and before I forget...(with all the fangirlishness I can muster) *squeeeeeeee*!

I am shamelessly spamming this blog Spamming is actually something I've done little of... I've just answered comments, not left random short comments like this.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:17 pm PT
This blog = the highlight of my day. Call my life sad if you want but it was awesome
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:18 pm PT
mack: yup, paul gross played the mountie in "due south" and the main part in the wonderful, brilliant "slings & arrows" (the only show i'm editor of)
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:23 pm PT
Daria When you wrote your comment, I haven't squeed yet. Now, I did.

Bea Thanks. I kinda knew that it's the role he's most known for as an actor. I do know he's an award-winning writer and director as well. I'm not familiar with either show though.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:27 pm PT
That's good. Then I'm happy for you. But still not happy for me, cause that means you'll be around less. But I'll get over it OMG 4 days! and all the other shows too, I wouldn't survive lol. I thought the sex orgies turned a little too weird. I can focus n all of CKR Suspicious River... right. SFU is awesome and I'll let you know. I let you know about just about everything I do Grey's Anatomy is on TV... my parents drag me away from the computer anyway if I don't do anything with them so I figure why not spend that time drooling over Eric and Paddy??

HAHAHAHAHAHA MACKY IS LITTERALY SQUEEING
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:31 pm PT
*slaps head* Bad Emiko, how could I forget. Good luck on all your papers and stuff. I was just excited to see ya back. *joins Mack in the squeeing* LMAO @Mack squeeing. *LMAO cause I almost posted "sexcited"* LOl @catching the briefest of brief glimpses of the Eric avi I made. I think I'm gonna save it for True Blood finale weekend. I'm glad you liked it. I couldn't find a decent naked Eric avi so I made one from the pic Penny posted in the Man Club meeting. I will certainly add you to the Supernatural Club members list.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:34 pm PT
Haha, its weird cause we just became friends, and then I took a short hiatus, and when I came back, you stopped blogging and commenting. I hope you return 100 percent soon. That guy has been in a lot. Hard worker. The Due South clip was hilarious!
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:38 pm PT
YAY!! You're back!!! I'm happy about this. I missed you around here. I think we all missed you. But it always is annoying when life gets in the way but I guess you have to do it or... you... I dunno. Life is just important I haven't finished the last season of True Blood but it looks so amazing. I'm only having problems finding the shows on the net And yeah, pretty much the only annoying thing sometimes is Bill... CKR CKR CKR CKR CKR CKR!!!! Daria and I have had some wonderful conversations about his awesomeness. I'm glad someone else loves him as much as us!! I think you love him more than what I do though... heheh I love that he's Canadian. And he's all badass and awesome and his roles are always really complicated to do but he pulls them off wonderfully. TVwise, my favaourite characters were definitely Lew Ashby and the guy in harper's Island. He was all scary!! These are some pretty funky icons that you made. I have to go to school now But I'm very happy that you're even a little bit back.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:42 pm PT
Ditto on True Blood but whats this about Bill's Stiffness? I hate the two week wait, one week is bad enough! I know alot more about CKR now than i did 2 minutes ago. I did love his role as Lew Ashby on "Californication" tho, i thought it was the best guest spot in all of tv last season. Later .
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:56 pm PT
Daria It is, I mean it was time to answer... lol... Well, ya I am weird, I think he is less hot in Due South. But still hot. And it is a nice clip. No, he wasn't young. But he looks quite young, doesn't he?

Mack Thanks for reading my fan-girl ramble, I held back, can you tell? *swoon* Judging from your squee, I'd say you make a pretty fine fangirl yourself. And mister, you said you "loved" him"! Don't you take that back now only because of me obsessing. Actually (Spoiler BSG, beware), I think you have to love the show, not only him. He is hardly in the first two seasons and he has a pretty bad exit in the 4th season. And I have no intention of dissing Spooks! The only reason it's not more prominent is that I was to lazy to make a Spook introduction as well. And you are the only one I know who has seen it. lalalalala... You know, me being someone who actually gives new recommendations a chance and all. (couldn't keep in this bitca-y sidenote inside ) Anyway, I really like the show, done with season 7. Killer Cliffhanger. Liked season 6 better, but still very awesome. I can't wait for new epis.
He does remind me of Hugh Laurie too!! In some scenes more than in others, that's so funny that you say that! *high5's Mack* I have never been with a man that much older than me, btw, I don't know why I fall for them on screen - weird me. I have seen Paul Gross in Wilby Wonderful also but I liked CKR better in that. Great actor, though. In Due South they make a nice team. Ya, he was on that Blade movie but I can see that you missed him, barely any lines. He was on the vampire team though. Kacey is her name in case you wanted to know. And thanks, makes me glad. Your new avatar is a little freaky but I guess I only think so because I don't know him, don't be mad. *waves*

Bea I should add, I really love Frasier too, you know.

Daria I know!!! So crappy, right? Such a long wait... But I'll have something to look forward to. I get that with the orgies... I guess that's just TB for me, I don't really mind anymore. lol... Cool, let me know. And enjoy parent time.

Emiko Thank you!! That's awesome, I am in! *does the SN club dance* What a cool new word invention. lol And the hot avi is gone, it was a lil surprise? Very nice job. And fitting for the finale weekened, can't wait.

Tristan I know!! We had such bad timing. But I'll keep up to date with your blogs now, buddy. Cross my heart. And thanks! He is a hard worker indeed. Glad you liked the clip a little.

Jess Thank you, that is sooo nice of you!! I am really glad to be back as well! I'll try to put in some more tv.com time. Yay, yay, life is important, you need to go to school now? Have fun!! I am almost ready for bed. Enjoy True Blood, I think you are in for a treat. And Squueee!! Some more CKR love. Lew Ashby is for sure awesome. I am a little over the top with my adoration, so you might be right? But still, even a bit of shared CKR love makes me happy. And I know exactly what you mean with the roles. I agree... And he was so scary in HI, he freaks me out in quite a lot of roles, actually. Thank you, speak soon, Jess!!

Ryan Nice to see you! Yay, that's music to my ears, I thought Lew Ashby rocked as well. You sure have seen him on Supernatural also. I couldn't remember him at first either. And wow, do you actually like-like Bill? Well, for me, he is the worst part of the show and I dislike his acting on several occasions. Also his trademark annoyed vampire voice or his bedroom voice. *rolls eyes* Or perhaps stiff is just a poor choice of words... lol... no pun intended... *changes it to wooden... In case you really like him, I am happy for you. I wish I'd like him too, I'd enjoy the show more.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 3:00 pm PT
Yeah, its funny but its kind of a good thing for me. I get to see the obscure sci-fi actors I like over and over again. Everyone has guest starred in everything. My friends actually make fun of me for not watching BSG and they arent even sci-fi fans.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 3:00 pm PT
Glad to see you back, even if it's not 100% . That Cullen guy also did an ep of SV "Shattered", only seen him in a couple things. Good luck with your paper.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 3:05 pm PT
ELA! ELA IS BACK (sort of she says ) I can't believe it!!!! I'm sooo glad you've taken the time to blog for us I've missed them so much! And I missed you! True Blood as been all kinds of mindblowing this year hasn't it? I was so annoyed we have to wait an extra week for the finale! I mean are HBO trying to drive us mad?? It's gonna be awesome though Great spot on Callum Keith Rennie! Do you know that I only realised he was in that episode of Supernatural like last week when I watched it with my friend who is a BSG nut? Yes BSG totally only makes sense when you have seen that miniseries since it follows on directly from there. I was awe struck right from the very first scene in the miniseries, I mean it was nothing like I thought it was was gonna be and I simply love Tricia Helfer I am still only at the end of season 2 in BSG I really gotta get around to watching the rest. I may wait until I get the box set though cos I don't like watching it in poor quality. It's so awesome that you have a celeb crush! That's just so much fun isn't it? And I really don't mind indulging fellow fangirl rantings even if I am not a fangirl of that person myself I really gotta check out Due South too! Bea is always raving about that. OMG you are so good at photoshop now I am really jealous! Keep up the good work!
Posted Sep 7, 2009 3:18 pm PT
Oh believe me, I understand the indulgences of a fangirl, now more than ever. I have always been crazy about Michael Shanks, but since I started working on his picspam I have gone simply mad for him!
Posted Sep 7, 2009 3:53 pm PT

Ela!! Great to hear from you!

I remember trying the first few minutes of a True Blood episode a while back and telling you I didn't like it. However a few weeks ago I tried it again and this time I really enjoyed it. I actually like the main female character a lot, which is not something that happens often, but Sookie is a great character. I've only watched the first season so far, but I'm working on getting to the 2nd.

I've seen some of Battlestar Galactica, but not a lot. I do plan on watching more eventually, but not right now.

Ha, Callum Keith Rennie. Now you know how I feel all the time-- although I don't think I'm actually obsessed with anyone at the moment, shockingly enough. I actually own Due South because of Callum Keith Rennie. I first saw him in The Invisible and I really liked him (despite the fact he was in it all of five minutes). I like both main characters in Due South, but of course Ray is more fun because he's not as good as Fraser.

I don't watch Spooks, but I am watching the spinoff "Spooks: Code 9" and it's quite entertaining. Although I hear that fans of Spooks don't like the spinoff, and I can see that the show is made differently.

Have a wonderful week and see you soon!
Posted Sep 7, 2009 4:22 pm PT
ELAAAAAA! Hi, welcome back! Aww man, I've missed you! Lurking is fun, I agree. Sometimes I get too lazy to do anything so I lurk and read things. I hope that you'll find time for us. AHHHHH THAT'S JOHN WAKEFIELD? He looks SO old in the show though! *is a little freaked out* Happy week!
Posted Sep 7, 2009 5:56 pm PT
I should thank CKR personally. Without him, you wouldn't need blogging as an outlet to share your newfound love for him. LOL my squeee's an embarrassment to fangirldom. And my head hurts when I do it, so I probably shouldn't be doing it often. I did? I kinda hate your having a sharp memory. Kidding! I won't take it back. He was the one whom Adama and the others locked in some weapons storage room/warehouse, right? I think that's the only thing I remember him from in the earlier parts. And of course, Spooks didn't have CKR. I won't hear the end of it, will I? Not until I finally say, 'Hey Ela, guess what!? I watched Angel's pilot today!' Killer cliffhanger! Agree with S6 being better. Did you already know Zaf and Jo are married in real life? And Zoe and Tom too.

Why'd you find that funny? *hi5s back?* I've never fallen for an older man either, so that makes two of us. I kind of remember CKR in Blade now. He really does play a great villain. Does Shattered have an airdate for its pilot? I can't remember from the article you sent me. Too lazy to check. I'm sorry about the avatar. It's Zach Galifianakis, more specifically Ray Hueston from the HBO show I picked up, Bored to Death. He's my obsession right now... kidding, funny bearded dude from The Hangover. And we share the same birthday (minus the year)
Posted Sep 7, 2009 7:49 pm PT
i'm glad, you like benton fraser as well! btw, david marciano playing the real ray vecchio in season 1 and 2 and in the end of season 4 is great as well, maybe not as good looking as ckr but a brilliant and wonderful actor and the best episode of "due south", "victoria's secret" (imho) is in season 1 as well but there are some great episodes in seasons 3 and 4 as well like "mounty on the bountie" or ckr centric episode "the ladies' man" that deals with capital punishment. it's weird seasons 1 and 2 (due south) on one side and seasons 3 and 4 (due south (1997)) on the other are treated as different shows in here. if i'm not mistaken season 1 and 2 were a us/canadian production while seasons 3 and 4 were purely canadian.
Posted Sep 8, 2009 12:41 am PT
Rebecca Ya, it does help when you like one of the team, right? I think it would suck to really dislike one of them but lucky us then. They mock the sci-fi girl for not liking it... lol... BSG does have a pretty good reputation, right? Me, I guess, I can see some resemblance to Babylon Five in terms of serialized, and dark, and politics. BSG doesn't have the quirky charm, though, that I think (from the clips in your blog) Stargate has as well.

kdtfiles Right! You remember him from Smallville - cool! I don't watch the show but I saw the episode. Wasn't bad, IMO. Thanks so much! And see you around.

Jodie!! Awww, good to have you here, and with an awesome Misha presence no less. I missed you too... Doesn't that suck with TB? And next week, I have to postpone the watching even further, damn them... I remember last season when I was so excited after the finale, and so desperate to see more. I really hope they take pity on us and make the cliffhanger bearable. But somehow I don't think so. lol... I totally forgot about him in Supernatural too! Wow, I should rewatch as well, you'll be so well prepared! I exactly know what you mean about the first scene, I felt the same way. And Tricia Helfer is wonderful on the show. You haven't seen the finale of season 2 right? I can't see you stopping after the finale lmao! But I envy you. You have still so much to look forward to. I really like season 2 and the plot with Michelle Forbes (which I know you have seen) was so cool, imo. I was so close to buying the BSG set (80 pounds on amazon on sale) but I'll wait for the Movie "The Plan" to be included. Coming up in October, I can't wait. It gives the Cylon perspective, woohooo. Thanks for not dissing my newest obsession. I know I am a little weird liking him so much but what can I do. I'd be curious if you like Due South. I think it's sweet. Aww, thanks!! You are the bestest!

Rebecca OMG, you are right! I seriously think that the whole picture hunt and photoshop craziness made matters worse... And maybe it's exactly the same with Michael Shanks... I've seen and liked him on Burn Notice but it would have helped to love him beforehand, I am sure. I look forward to your picspam!!

Seyonnne!! Hey there, good to see you!! OMG, I was so radio silent, I am sorry. It's been too long again. You like True Blood now? Look at you, I think we are pretty similar then because on first watch of the pilot, I was annoyed by a lot of things... And I got over that, too. I really like Sookie too, I think I like her best. And LaFayette and two characters from season 2. As I said, I like season 2 way better even. BSG is quite a project and fall season is not the best time probably.

Lol, Seyonne, I was so thinking of you and the guy from Castle, when I wrote this. Boooo! You bet I know how you felt now. I haven't seen the Invisible yet, only a clip on youtube. That's the thing, he has these mini-roles... haha. Glad you liked him. And I didn't know you liked Due South, that's cool! You are right, Ray has it easier that way. Although Fraser is pretty funny himself, I do like him too.

I haven't seen the Spooks spinoff. Glad you like it. I don't really know that much about it. I might have a look, then... You have a wonderful week yourself. Thanks for your awesome comment. Speak soon, indeed.

Ivy!! Thank you! I missed you too... Thanks for coming by the other day, it made me realize that it's been way too long... Go us lurkers, I love to be lazy sometimes. Haha, you only know him from Harper's Island? lol... I get that you are freaked out, then. Me, I actually watched it partly because of him. You might have leveled the field with all the good stuff you said about the show too... I know, he was so creepy in that show and he looked very old. I guess he is quite old, even by my standards, I am so weird. Younger than Hugh Laurie though. And he can look a little younger at least. You have an awesome week yourself. Love the new Sheldon, I cheered that you put him as attractive male. *hi5's*

Mack You did, you said that you loved him on everything you have seen, being BSG, Californication and HI. Good, that you won't take it back, I need some more CKR love in my blog, you know. That Adama scene was in the miniseries. He had some very forgettable ensemble scenes without lines also and the Leoben centric episode in season 1. Starbuck interrogates him about a fake nuclear device, remember? Loved him on that episode. That was the start for me. The miniseries was fine but it didn't do enough for my character love. I knew about Zoe and Tom, not about Zaf and Jo though. (Spooks spoiler ahead) I miss Zaf... Too bad, he is dead that was such a mistake, I couldn't really say good bye... By the way, am I weird for Spoiler alerts in my comments? It's just that I sometimes read other comments and that's my main spoiling source... lol... Anyway, weird me.

Well, it's funny because I thought I was weird for thinking so and that my crushes would simply mingle... It was such a short thought and I forgot about it... It was nice to read it and be reminded. You do remember him in Blade, now? Yay me, I did a fine job then. No airdate yet. I added the show and I need to get that guide. First guide I want in forever. I really hope no one will beat me to it. It's fall season 09/10. I thought September but there are rumors about January. I'll let you know if you want. I think I need to see that guy before I can love the avatar. Right know he is just weird looking to me. Don't know Hangover either. I didn't plan to watch Bored to death but you are rambling so much, I just might...

Bea You may be right that the sidekick is good, he may grow on me... And as I said, Fraser was awesome in the pilot, I can really laugh at that guy, so polite and sweet, it's impossible not to like him. Anyway, i am glad, I gave it a shot. And thanks for the recommendations, I will be on the lookout for these episodes, I haven't seen them yet. I wondered about the distinction as well! Very weird.... Have a nice day!

Oh so you noticed the teeny wee Misha thing I have going on then huh? I have heard that the BSG season 2 finale is pretty awesome I would have watched it ages ago but the USB cord for my ext. HD broke and I'm yet to get a new one (I have em all stored there) Yes I noticed this stuff about the boxset too and that it was not complete etc so I think I'll wait. I also read on amazon.com that the packaging on the US set is inferior so for once I'll get the UK set.
Who am I to judge about CKR when I have my Misha Collins crush? Trust me there is nothing to be ashamed of having a little fangirl crush (or huge crush ) Just ask Daria re: NF/NPH/DC etc

Actually this means you are now in the fangirl club Ela cos I have never noticed you crushing on anyone before now you can be a crazy fangirl like the rest of us, yayness!

YAY, it's you! I know that feeling of loosing touch... The more happy I am that you popped your head in - woohoo. *very proud* Thanks for the luck, I can use it. Take care, Elly!

Oh, Jodie! What a coincidence! I saw a special edition set that I fancied but I will be strong, I am really excited for the movie that's coming up. That sucks about the cord, my harddrive also broke The connection to the cord. I could rescue the most important stuff so I won't complain to much. It sucks though. And funny enough: it also had Battlestar Galatica, lol... I really hope you'll like the finale. And you are right indeed. Fangirldom, here I come again. *swoon*

Oh and actually, I do have my share of crushes. Funny that you say that. Don't I promote them enough? Maybe lol... Anyway, about time, I am in the club.
